the magic system is great, spells are flashy and feel good when used. world felt....empty for lack of a better term, and the main character felt very uncomfortably out of place in it. i had a lot of fun playing it though, the magic and parkour were great. story became nonsensical, predictable, and quite lazy by the end.

great concept evolution of fortnite build + monster hunter + dark souls. not a fan of the character designs, something felt off and sorta uncanny (monster designs are phenomenal though). game's not fully optimized i feel like, it looks pretty muddy, and the english voice acting is noticeably.......meh. i can't wait until the next monster hunter game.

loved being in the harry potter universe. wish the outside world was a little bit more fleshed out, and there was more to do outside the castle.

easily top 3 games i've played. i finished all bosses, and then immediately wanted to restart and play again. i'll be going back to this one throughout the year for sure

the spectacle of god of war didn't really hit during this game. there weren't that many moments that i connected with, but splitting off atreus as his own character was the one that stuck with me the most. otherwise, pretty bland main story and boss fights. i powered through the final chunk just to see the conclusion of the story, and didn't touch any post-game stuff. solid game though.

too long, gets very grindy and same-y towards back half. tactics and card system are a lot of fun though. more heroes would have been nice, but the roster they have here is built and designed very well. more enemy variety and locations could have been cool too, though this entry is a really good framework if the developers decide to go for a sequel.
