We have silent hill/resident evil 4 at home.

While it may not have the best writing (ironic since the titular character is an author, also not a knock at the overall story) the game makes up for with it's excellent atmosphere and presentation. its a fairly straightforward and rudimentary horror survival game that does not reward the player for deep exploration, lacks enemy variety, and one that doesnt leave much up to the imagination in terms of speculative lore, which is bad for this genre. while it's not as inventive as the max payne series, its still an okay game.
