These tracks transport me to the view I had of the screen the moment they first played, or to a particular instance in which I was listening to them while playing. Naturally, plenty more video game songs elicit strong emotional responses from me, but few of them are engraved onto my brain as the main reason I recall those junctures and not the other way around.
