keeps bugging on the first sequence ill come back to it some other time

Don't play, watch the game on YouTube

Played mostly around 2015-2016 on Steam, purchased on switch in 2022 with not many hours put in

Honestly, I bought it after beating Persona 4 Golden and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax wasn't available so this was the next best thing. I've never played any of the other fighting game represented so I can't speak on its quality as a Blazblue game, but if you like the characters and anime fighters, this is for you.

Played a little bit back around 2018 I believe.
I found out about AVGN way later and picked up this game because of the web series. Kind of a nothing 2D sidescroller with a lot of profanity. If you needed the nerd in a Mega Man like, here ya go.

Played around 2015-2016 when it was popular on Steam and IOS.
Decent time waster, though a product of its time.

Played throughout childhood and beat in 2020 on a Gamecube copy, on the Wii.
Beat all 5 stories. Did not tackle the hard mode.
When I was younger I considered this my favorite game of all time. I loved the characters, the music, and the locations. Looking back, its a buggy mess with slippery controls, cheesy dialogue, and frustrating later levels. Still nostalgic all the same. If you didn't grow up playing it, I can't guarantee your enjoyment, but if you have morbid curiosity on sonic games from the early 2000s be my guest. Although I do rec Sonic Adventure 2 more.

Story 2/5

Beat in February 2024 on Steam through Steam Share
Got the true ending and beat the Reaper, did not get to beat Elizabeth or max all the links unfortunately.

Great game and a perfect example of a remake imo. Follows the story beats 1:1 with the original, while adding some extra content that contextualizes the characters better. The combat also is my favorite in the series, going off of Persona 5 Royal, with controllable party members, a baton pass equivalent, and fluid UI and mechanics. The definitive way to play Persona 3 imo.

Story 8/10
Music 9.5/10
UI 10/10
Mechanics 9.5/10

Emulated with a PCSX2 with a wide-screen hack
I got protag to level 99 and beat the reaper, beat the Journey but not the Answer

P good game but pretty archaic. No selectable skill inheritance, game overs sending you to the title screen, long load times, and no controllable party members contribute to its downfall. Despite that I had a lot of fun with this game when I played it. I think the time in your life you play this game matters, the best time being around 15-18 imo. I prefer it over P3P because I like seeing the models in the over world. Play if you like story based games with good turn based combat.
