The sheer amount of unlockable characters in this game is crazy, its literally comparable to Smash Bros in that regard. The adventure mode is fun but gets boring quickly which kind of describes the game as a whole

The artstyle is incredible, one of the best looking games on the Wii, and the action is so visceral and satisfying. Best game I've played from Platinum.
1997
Yoshi controls weird, the level design is very bland, the decision to make progression based on wandering around until you gather 40 fruits in a level is a strange one. This is definitely one of the mid Yoshi games

So we all know the story is bad but what really brings this down as a GAME is its insistence on using only the Wii Remote for its controls. It makes the game confusing and awkward to control, leaving me wanting the story to come back during gameplay and wanting the gameplay to come back as soon as the story came back. There is a good game hiding here, and there are parts I really like, the cinematic nature of the game is great, but it is brought down by several very poor decisions made during development.

The tank game is 5 stars but the rest of the game is like 3 stars so I'm meeting in the middle
Possibly the best Wii party game and some of the most creative use of the wiimote out there. Only downsides are that you have to unlock everything and the game is a little light on content

This game holds up shockingly well, way better than Super Mario Kart. Very fun fast-paced racer
12 year old me was very into the idea of Sonic with a talking sword but the game is mid
Best Mario sports game made and it's not even close THIS SHIT GOES SO HARD
Very fun Star Wars game with a good story, is a little too short though and I got stuck on one of the last levels for awhile due to a dumb force push segment

I don't know why this is one of the Sonic games that gets praise, it runs well enough and isn't TERRIBLE but its controls are just as janky as any other modern Sonic game
Everybody's first completed Zelda game is a magical experience. This was mine. From my perspective this is OOT but better. Only beaten out just BARELY by Wind Waker for my favorite Zelda game

One of the best stories/best writing in any Mario game. Gameplay can be ROUGH in certain levels but when this game is great it is GREAT.

I like this one slightly better than Legends but Legends has way more content including most of the levels from Origins so I'll just cut the difference and give them the same score

Some of the best maps in the entire Mario Kart series, the antigrav mechanic adds so much. However battle mode sucks, I don't like that coins can be found in item boxes, and certain aspects just feel dumbed down compared to Mario Kart Wii, including the character roster (I don't want 4 Marios 4 Peaches and a shit-ton of babies, I want Diddy and Funky Kong dammit). One of the best Mario Kart games but not the all-time greatest
