played the trial on ps5. immediately bought the game on ps5. went upstairs to bed. immediately bought the game on Switch. somehow played until 2:30am

this game is mesmerizing. between this and helldivers, 2024 already has two addicting games with perfect drop in and play gameplay loops. Game is an achievement, and I think it is somehow an even better game than slay the spire. what an awesome surprise.

Great game when it works. Unfortunately it is not optimized at all and you're going to be having stuttering problems in 95% of your matches.

this is one of my favourite series/collection of all time and i know i’ll continue going back to it every couple of years. just an incredible collection. excellent gameplay, endless replay ability, great locations (mostly), underrated humour, tense moments, cool as fuck moments, and on and on. incredible work. excited for their take on james bond. they’ve more than earned it.

One of the sickest games I’ve ever played, and I really enjoyed the 2016 game.

This is one of the best videogame ass video games I’ve ever played. Very few complaints.

I’ve wanted to play this since I was a kid, can’t believe I finally did it. MGS2 is one of my favourite games of all time, and this did not disappoint. Kojima is a god.

Annoying gameplay elements at times, some pretty unfair and cheap situations where you can’t even see where you’re being shot from. But the gameplay overall was pretty cool. Story, lore, ideas, music, acting, art style, are all phenomenal.

Also the aesthetics in this game are ultra tumblr poetry and i love it.

So much better than RE7, it’s crazy. A return to form, even if it’s still a very different vibe from the original 3-4 games.

I hated this game for a lot of the way through, and not because it was scary.

It improved a bit more as I played through, ultimately dipping a bit again before finishing. As a creepy game, it succeeds. As a Resident Evil game, it’s one of the weaker entries imo.

I understand why it exists and I’m happy Capcom has understood that they need to take care of this franchise. I applaud the decision to move to first person, even if I’m not sure I love it.

I think overall what hurts this game the most is that the characters were never as interesting to me as prior games in the series, and what dialogue is usually cheesy and awesome in the RE series, was mostly just cheesy here.

Looking forward to playing through Village.

I’m only on chapter 3 but can already say this is at least a 4.5 from me.

Incredibly elegant, cool tone, beautiful minimalist graphics, nice music, and most importantly, thoughtful puzzle design.

What a nice surprise.

In my eyes there is no better local multiplayer game. We used to have pick-up tournaments of this game while having drinks a few years ago and it’s some of the best memories I have from videogames.
