this is one of the few legitimately so bad its good games, its never boring its just always fucking stupid

need more hours for indepth thoughts, but its a pretty well thought out fighting game both visually and mechanically. albeit very momentum heavy at lower levels (where im at)

this is good, but the pacing for the story fucking sucks, multiplayer is aight

in need of a revisit, but its enjoyable regardless. it definitely falls flat on of the things it attempts though

this is terrible, but its also way more thought out than most games despite that lol

genuinely good pacing past the 5th mission, constantly funny and chill as fuck.

how this story plays into the silver case vns is amazing too, giving a lot of substance to the anti game design nonsense that this shit has beyond the spectacle of the massive balls a company had to ship it.

story and characters are pretty much perfect paired with the dlc and the gameplay albeit braindead never gets old with how flashy and satisfying it is, dont feel like this is unfinished as it is now

this strikes a pretty perfect balance of gameplay and story quality as far as ffs ive played, some of the cast could use MUCH more focus than they get and the reoccurring antagonist is pretty weak (not sin) but no real problems besides those

every fsn route has decently big flaw that you have to get over

fate with half of the route being introduction and not having much go
ubw with the middle antagonist being very poor compared to fates
and hf with the optimal way to experience it having shitty h scenes, albeit the good they bring vastly outweighing the bad imo

there are caveats to some of these being flaws and how much they effect the experience depends on the person, over time these flaws have grown to mean nearly nothing to me.

i could truly write forever about all the positives this has, but i dont feel like it lol, its a large part of the person i am now and dont ever want to forget what its done for me

more of an appeal to realism than the modern games, gameplay is more interesting but i honestly cant say by much

standard ubisoft shooter with a REALLY fucking good antagonist, a pretty decent format considering the following games seem to do the same thing

modern fallout has never been able to grab me in any way, boring landscape (there are way better examples of intentionally empty worlds), shitty combat and uninteresting characters or plot. zzzzzzzzzzzz

same as budokai 3, but i prefer how budokai 3 plays to this despite the higher (albeit with arguably less substance to it) fanservice

every budokai largely invalidates the other so this applies to the whole series. essentially a party game, pretty high fanservice but the gameplay is pretty much only lasts for more than a day when you're a kid obsessed with anything dragon ball

been playing since day 1 but, only season 3 thoughts. game is fundamentally very apey and i don't prefer it to other fgs.

a lot of initial complaints you'll about this game (autocombos, too simple, any other reactionary modern fg take) aren't the main problems are as applicable as some might make it out to be.

nothing is really broken about this game in the current state its in but the things you have to do to run a proper game plan in this game are annoying to deal with.

constant meaningless interactions, WAY too many defensive options and a pretty uninteresting neutral.

i still like this a lot though since its dragon ball and is definitely the best playing game of it
