extremely clunky and unpolished combat mechanics, even for its time, but if you like other action rpgs from the time you may dig it

noir theme is cool, but everything else stumbles. feels more like a tech demo than an actual game in a lot of aspects, ESPECIALLY with the interrogations. if team bondi/rockstar stopped pushing for needless motion capture bullshit and instead focused on making their 1920s universe feel alive, this game would've been remembered a lot more fondly

tries to be a polished jpog but lacks the heart put into the original. a direct downgrade in comparison to jpog (a then 15 year old game), especially in regards to dino AI and behavior. environments are nice tho

cool game i like the blood and viscera

i appreciate the story it's trying to tell, but the execution leaves much to be desired

the somber, harsh, beautiful world of rain world is something i wish i could experience over and over again. if you're patient with this game and learn its rhythm, you'll be rewarded with an unforgettable experience

don't worry guys humans will be playable very soon

david cage is somehow able to make lobotomies look more engaging and enjoyable

play this game if you like bullet hells that actively put you to sleep after 5 minutes of play

nuanced narrative that could've just as well been written on the side of a high school bathroom stall with black sharpie

softcore torture porn for people who are too young to have a bank account
