Lots of annoying missions with weird conditions and really temperamental failstates, economy has been completely atomised (you don't pay AC repairs when you fail a mission so you can fail upwards through the whole game w/ an energy weapon)... I don't like it all that much. Also docked points becuase I keep seeing the mech on the cover as winston overwatch. First true AC miss imo... sad to see

Like it's okay, noticeably the least fun Pokemon game so far which is sad because there's a lot I like about it - and a lot I wish I liked more! But also had the crushing problem of me not finishing it before Void Stranger came out

Was incredibly compelling at first but sadly felt like it lost a lot of its lustre as I kept going. Have more Thoughts than when I wrote the review since I've been watching a friend go through, but can't be bothered to write them. Still a good game tho

Started out strong by dropping me in with hardly any of my funds and a mech designed specifically to kill tanky lategame ACs and final bosses and nothing else. Anyway as it turns out, "what if AC3 was good" is actually really good

It's weird! Not sure if I like the changes so far but I admit that after playing 6 AC games that feel the exact same (skipped AC2AA, sorry!) that some sort of shakeup needed to happen at some point

Bad end no.3 lets goooooooo!!!! Really happy that I've actually been able to clear 7 and 8 relatively fast, I think as cool as they are the patterns do start to hurt my eyes pretty bad so I don't think I'll ever try for a 1cc though. Happy with where I am :)

Only played like an hour of this before dropping it again. Growing up on the 'Age of' RTSes makes me really loathe the style of map where resources are in very specific places and nowhere else (I don't like WC or SC that much either). Past that it just doesn't have enough depth to carry it past the creature creator.

Anyway fuck your "Age of Empires" bull shit you sit over there in your stinky little corner with your "competitively balanced and interesting video game" I have crocodiles that fire laser beams. I hit Age 4 and drop a fucking meteor on your town and level it instantly and there is nothing you can do except for beating me before I get there. AoM is a bit weird and I am *mad* rusty at RTSes but here's hoping I can get more than a few sessions of fun out of it! (editor's note: I did not do this)

Kinda boring mechanically (sort of reminiscent of Hearthstone) but also just doesn't give me any fun cards. First time I saw something halfway interesting was halfway through the game, and I didn't have it.

I have some friends who are into this and I'm really desperate to finally put WoW to rest so I gave it a little go and this game is just cookie clicker. It is just cookie clicker. I turned the game off when I got a quest to find someone in Lumbridge and it gave me a quest marker telling me exactly where to go instead of daring to let me think

On its own merits it isn't great (you can *always* tell which the fanmade quests are because they just. aren't as good!) but it feels more authentic to my old WoW memories than even Classic did because the server is packed and you're equally as likely to find the nicest person you'll ever meet as you are to find someone who immediately calls you a racial slur. Quit because my hardcore character died and I have no interest in doing it again lol

Great fun for the first world but runs out of steam really fast since its core ideas never evolve in interesting ways and the levels do the things that annoy me most in platformers (stick stuff on cycles or otherwise just break the flow of the game). Honestly you could just download it, play the first world and feel satisfied and put it down lol

I threw a chemical weapon at a Squirtle and sent it flying into a Mankey and knocking it off a cliff, then I threw another chemical weapon at the Mankey and sent it into a double backflip landing on a button which opened the giant metal gate which is part of the environment for some reason

Look ive gotta level with you all, i've never held a ps controller in my life so making me mash 4 buttons a second on a strict rhythm while I'm still trying to figure out where the buttons even are is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. But the song on parappa's side about the joys of deforestation is what finally turned me into a good rhythm game player

Okay I'll admit I went in not knowing the controls and quit out without knowing how to melee or reflect (I got filtered by a boss that you definitely need to melee and reflect against to not time out) but idk if I'm all that motivated to go back in? Feel like Treasure's games so far just don't have much of a grip on me (RSG was cool enough but I got filtered hard)

The sad truth is that there's some cool stuff here but none of it can save it from how nasty it feels to play. Anyway my hot ds2 take is, you know the lift between earthen peak and iron keep and how everyone likes to dunk on it? They should have doubled down on that. Don't have a lift between them, have them unceremoniously rammed into each other. I want to see lava flowing into it in completely nonsense ways. I wanna see all the other zones smashed together too. If it's not gonna make sense, *make it* not make sense! Hell then some youtuber could make a lore vid about how it's like that because everyone has forgotten what it actually looks like (I think this was a theme in the game). Hire me from software.

Love the idea of a HIGH SPEED DRIVING RPG until the RPG elements go past 'building a car' and hit 'random encounters in a racing game'. If you lose a random encounter they can steal one of your parts which would go so hard if the driving didn't feel so off and one slight tap didn't kill your entire race. Would kill for a game like this with a more palatable execution
