As someone who was really dissapointed with Yakuza 6, I can confidently say this is a much better game. Everything here was better than yakuza 6, whatever It will be the story or the gameplay. In fact, I would even go far as say this is the best yakuza game since 0, which is my favorite in the entire series.

Story and characters here are really strong, I liked all the characters in this game, which is rare for a yakuza game. Mini games and substories were still wonderful, although yakuza 0 still takes the cake when it comes to substories.

New fighthing style for kiryu was really unexpected but holy shit, he literally becomes batman with it, its just way too cool, I'm glad they added it, It sparked up the gameplay very nicely. Also, final boss in this game is one of the best, everything about it was just kino.

Last few scenes in this game will always stick with me, I never though I would cry this hard for a yakuza game but here we are, It really solidifed my love for kiryu and his journey.

Unique and beautiful RPG that is made with love and it really shows in every detail; The whole game is overflowing with soul and passion.

ODST has some cool ideas with the variety of its flashback missions, its open-ish hub area and the detective style revealing of what the hell is going on with its story. However, the hit and miss level design, forgettable characters and lack of significant new gameplay ideas left me unimpressed. For me this is a lacklustre follow up to the phenomenal Halo 3 which plays it far too safe when it could’ve really pushed the boundaries of this universe, not having the restrictions of being a mainline game.

After playing through Extra and Unlimited, I was really excited to finally play Muv-Luv Alternative. While I wasn't a fan of both of those visual novels, Unlimited still managed to get me excited for Alternative. However, after reading through Alternative, I'm really conflicted about how I feel about this game.

Highs of the story were really good, But overall, there were so many redundant and convoluted info-dumps that the whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth.

When it comes to the characters, they were undoubtedly better developed here than ever before. However, I still couldn't connect or care about most of them, except for Meiya and Yuuko, who were my favorite characters in Muv-Luv. They were the main reason I stuck through the boring parts. I wonder if I would have liked the ending better if they had focused more on character development instead of those ridiculously stupid expositions.

The romance was one of the weakest points of this visual novel. I wasn't invested in the Sumika and Takeru pairing at all. I just wish they were better developed overall, and it didn't help that I wasn't crazy about both of those characters either.

The presentation definitely deserves some praise, particularly the beautiful OST. However, I don't consider this game a masterpiece or anything, but it was still worthwhile to see what the hype around this series was. I just wish some aspects had been handled better. There was a lot of wasted potential in my opinion.

Definitely not as bad as some people make it out to be, but I understand the criticism it receives and mostly agree with it.

Extra was a sol that got really boring after a bit because of my expectations from this series, I think that's the case for most people considering the general opinion people have about this game. I found the main heroines to be a bit weak, as ı didn't care about them that much in the end, which made going through their routes even harder.

Unlimited was more enjoyable compared to the extra which helped tremendously in my overall opinion about this game. Even the characters that I thought were annoying or just insufferable before were better than their counterpart in Extra here. It was not without its fault of course, as the romance and pacing were just terrible.

Meiya best girl.

Gameplay and controls didn't age that well, but story and characters are still solid.

Random encounters in the final chapter was insuffarable, If it wasn't for the amount of backtracking you have to do, It would've been fine, but this is just too much.
