Whoa that was some bullshit. Neither as illustrative a case study of manipulation as Little Misfortune, nor as (comparatively) innovative a piece of meta-gaming as Doki Doki, nor as visceral an experience of being a murderer as The Path or Rule of Rose -- because this is how you slay your princesses -- and I'm not even beginning to compare it to Hope: The other side of adventure aka the "Disturbing Princess App". Different routes do indeed show different outcomes but also I don't like the necessity to do a lot of them to potentially have something interesting/revealing/thoughtful/ethically dubious in the end, especially since as of now, nothing of that kind has happened. In fact, it's baffling how little the writing has to say about absolutely everything in the story while trying to be all witty and reflective. But also the art is worse than that of all games I've mentioned. I think I had Scarlet Hollow in my wishlist? Byyye.
