Abandoned after playing around 60% of the story

This is how you NOT make a sequel, fuck this game

The amount of single player content this game has is insane, absolutely insane considering the standards for fighting games.
With that said, the gameplay is a small step back from SCII but still, if played casually and not competitive, really really fun

Completed the Grand Prix mode.
All I can say is that this game is as good as people say it is. Definitely recommended, even for those who aren't fans of racing games.

Lastly I have to mention the OSTs of this game, phenomenal

started to play because of the memes, kept on playing because the game is actually good

also jack is fucking awesome

One day, in the distant future, Square Enix is going to realize that maybe this game deserves as much love as the other NieR games and treat it with proper respect.
One day, NieR Re[in]carnation is not going be remembered as the "NieR mobile gacha game" but as an entry in the franchise that deserves the same love as the other games in the series.

One day it will get a proper rerelease, on consoles and PC that actually preserves its story contents, enhances the gameplay and possibly removes the gacha parts entirely.
I know what you're thinking and I agree, if it's not impossible it's at least highly unlikely. But, I guess you can say it's my coping mechanism about this situation, I want to believe it will happen anyway.

Last thing: some the NieR/Drakengard fandom is split between those who believe this is NieR 3 and those who believe it isn't.

The truth is, it is NieR 3 and to me it's why it sucks

should be called Devil May Cry Vergil lol

game is cool as fuck by the way

I still can't get over how good the character of Vergil actually is. Fuck all those vergil memes portraying him as simply some edgelord, playing this game made me understand how incredibly cool his character is, and he only gets better in 5

2010

This is peak fiction.

With that said, I like Replicant more as it is the original vision Taro had for this universe (and I think it shows in different occasions) but I consider both this (Gestalt) and the OG Replicant (JP only) to be absolute gems, cavia's most brilliant and final works

I love this game so much, even if sometimes it gets repetitive I really enjoy every aspect of it. Nier Replicant is a masterpiece

"I should have been the one to fill your dark soul with LIGHT" is, even today, one of the best lines in gaming history

pretty cool game tho

Drakengard, without what made Drakengard interesting in the first place

Ghost Babel is peak, idc what anyone says. The fact this game came out on Game Boy Color is absolutely incredible

2010

I really like this game, I love its atmosphere and its level design is sometimes very clever. It can be frustrating at times but overall Limbo is a very unique game

One of the most influential Zelda games, along with titles like Ocarina of Time.
The game has some flaws, it can get very confusing in some areas but I still think it's very good

Ground Zeroes is one of the greatest prologue chapters in gaming history, it's an absolutely perfect introduction to The Phantom Pain.
Speaking about TPP, its gameplay is one of the most fun experiences I've had in a game in a very long time, probably the best in the MGS series. The story is obviously the weak part of the game but unlike many others I think it has its good moments and also I didn't really mind the concept of listening to the audio tapes, some were actually really good (especially the ones you get after beating the game).
Overall despite the lack of KoTF (the infamous mission 51) I have a very positive opinion of this game, I still play it from time to time
