My favourite videogame of all time.

The Twin Snakes is a mess.
I think it's the simpliest way I can describe this game.
Implementing the MGS2 engine in MGS1 sounds good on paper but it makes the gameplay extremely easier especially during bossfights due to the fact that you can aim and shoot with your gun in first-person mode.
The cutscenes are mostly a parody of the original, they were inspired by popoular movies at the time such as Matrix but the result is just an endless series of over the top sequences, sometimes they get nonsensical while most of the time they're just ridiculous.
I have to say that it's a shame that I don't really enjoy this game, because the gameplay in certain areas is very fun but some game design/direction choices just ruin the whole thing for me

I think it was around 2016 when I first discovered this game, since then it became my favourite racing game.
TrackMania Nations Forever is a game with infinite replayability thanks to its online component, gives players the chance to build their own tracks and offers an amazing campaign of official tracks.
All of this comes for free, you don't have to spend anything to enjoy this game to the fullest (unlike more recent entries in the series).
About the official tracks, I think I have to mention the final track in the game: one of the most difficult challenges I've encountered in a racing game, a 1-hour endurance test that really pushes the player to his limit. Completing the final track was in itself an experience and it's just one of the many things this game has to offer.

It's been almost a year since I've 100% completed this masterpiece of a game.
Celeste is one of the best 2D platformers out there, it's fun, challenging, has a wonderful art style and a cool story as the cherry on the top.
100%-completing the game was a challenging experience for sure, but an incredibly fun one.
It made me appreciate this gem of a game so much more that it became one of my all time favourites and I invite everyone to try Celeste

If the kart physics weren't so awful I would've completed it

The last good PES game (even if this is technically PES 2020 but whatever). It's really a shame to see what KONAMI has done with PES after this...

Twilight Princess is my favourite Zelda game and one of my favourite games in general. I love the dungeons, the characters, the atmosphere and the gameplay mechanics (especially Wolf Link).
I can see why this game is not everyone's cup of tea maybe because of its linearity but to me, Twilight Princess is linearity done right.

About the 100% though, fully completing the game was quite a challenge, like in many other Zelda games but the aspect I liked the least about the 100% completion are definitely the ghosts that you can only capture at night.
TP has a day-night cycle but the issue is, there's no item you can use to decide the time of day so if you wanna capture some ghosts but it's daytime you have to sit there and wait until the night comes.

Super Mario Galaxy is an absolute masterpiece, an almost perfect one.
One of my favourite games of all time, each time I replay it I find myself completely captured by the vibe and the atmosphere that the game possesses but probably the most important aspect of this game is how incredibly fun it is to play even to this day, despite minor camera issues and motion controls being... well, motion controls (even if they don't play a major role here considering this is a Wii Remote + Nunchuck game).

Super Mario Galaxy, like most games in the franchise, has a very simple narrative but one that for many reasons will always be fashinating to me, especially Rosalina's story, it always gets me emotional.

To end the review I just wanna say: play this game if you haven't already, it's one of the few Wii games that are REALLY worth it

I don't know if more things can be said about this game that haven't been said already by everyone else but this game is truly masterful, not perfect because it maybe aged a little bit but still, playing MGS even after more than 25 years since its release is an incredible experience.

The gameplay made me fall in love with the stealth genre and the story, twist after twist, is never boring, always interesting and fresh.

This game is overall an experience that I think everyone should try at least once, I totally recommend it
