legitimately such a fun and unique platformer. a combination of spy kids, monster house (personal vibe), and tim burton, wrapped up in a groovy 50's era package. there are so many combating aesthetic choices that end up working very well together. endlessly intriguing setting and characters, milla and sasha being my favorites. there are high and low points, but my favorite sections were the asylum and black velvetopia. my only gripe was the lack of player incentive to revisit the main starting area (camp) during the second-half of the game.

parappa the rapper walked so um jammer lammy and parappa the rapper 2 could run. specifically, parappa the rapper 2 takes everything from the original only to excel in every area. the gameplay is smoother, the characters are charming and full of life, and the world feels far more "lived" in. it's no wonder that this series went on to get a full anime adaptation. where is parappa the rapper 3!!!

um jammer lammy's ost had no reason to go THIS hard

abstract and psychedelic immersive sim. super chill 3D platformer with endless nooks and crannies to explore. piss shit die xo

i need a fully immersed chao garden game QUICKLY

a very solid adventure platformer. the gameplay was smooth, and the progression satisfying. the slight gothic aesthetics add a lot to its character as well. really enjoyed!

love this developer's games. penitent dead is a bit more straight-forward and isn't my favorite, but it has a great morrowind aesthetic worth seeing.

fun little presentation for the 2020 eek3 event! currently going through all the hauntedps1 games.

extremely atmospheric and intriguing. cannot wait to play dread delusion by the same developer(s).

another yames banger

a very polished prototype for what will hopefully be a full game in the future. a survival horror set underwater is something i've always wanted to see, and this concept delivers. similar to dino crisis in its niche.

some of the best aquatic horror you can get. "CorpseOcean" is another deep-sea submarine horror game, where you investigate and collect organic materials from specific coordinates. the gameplay loop is very similar to, and seemingly inspired the popular title "Iron Lung." the sound design here is excellent and enhanced the terror greatly. very lovecraft inspired as always, but actually done right.

humorpractor is an atmospheric puzzle/horror game where you use different tools to try and cure your patient. the concept is super interesting, and the atmosphere is stellar. it's of course very short, but i'd love to see this idea in a bigger project.
