i almost wonder if itd be worth playing again since i played during a mental breakdown maybe i didnt have the best judgement but then i think again and...... No .... i liked the story i liked walter and the visuals and music and the combat but hoooly shit was everything else exhausting . puzzles sucked . areas not fleshed out and reused in 2nd half . gameplay explicitly annoying . dont like managing my resources so strictly and constant escort mission for 3 hours and unkillable enemies that chase you forever . nice game story wise tho still prefer 2 and 3, but goddd the gameplay itself and the areas and 2nd half of the game hold this back. i dont mind the finnicky clunky silent hill controls but they did not work well AT ALL in the final boss fight. so many minor things pissed me off in this game i had to force myself to finish it just for the closure of completing it LOL
