I can't remember the last time I canceled a game, but Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora successfully managed to be uninstalled from my PS5.
The only positive thing about this game is the open world. Exploring Pandora is really fun, but it didn't improve the gaming experience for me.
To summarize the game in one sentence I'll just say it's like Far Cry only with Avatar skins.
On top of that, the story is poor and very uninteresting, Ubisoft really didn't put any effort into it.

A bad buy for me personally.

Yeah it‘s a nice Multiplayer Game, but I‘m taking a break.

I only played like 60-70 hours and I have the feeling that I missed a lot of side quests.
It's a great game and I will surely replay it with another class and maybe with the dark urge origin.

The game feels more like a DLC to its great predecessor than a game in its own right.
I finished the main story after 10 hours and found it okay. The real strength of the story only became apparent in the last 15 minutes.
Otherwise, the story was rather boring and the antagonist in the game couldn't be less interesting.
Now I have an open city to explore and couldn't be less interested in collecting any collectibles.
It's not a bad game, but for me it doesn't come close to the original.

I've been playing the game since it came out on June 6, and it was really fun at first.
Now more than a month later I don't have that much interest in the game anymore.
I'm at level 57 with my rogue and the endgame is just no fun, it just feels like an endless life task until you reach level 100.
And Season 1 didn't really convince me either.
I will probably play it less often now and rather start something else.

The story of the game I also found rather mediocre, but the story is not usually in the foreground in Diablo games anyway.
Nevertheless, I liked the story in the third part more and also the cutscenes were much more epic there.

For the fact that the story mode of Red Dead Redemption 2 is just so uniquely good, the online mode is a total failure.
It is set on the same map as the main game, but it is not as much fun to explore as it is in the main game.
The story that was made for the online game is just boring and you can tell that this game world is dying because you hardly see any other players.
Maybe the makers should have put a little more into it.

So, how do I best start this review.
First off, I can simply say Red Dead Redemption 2 is a terrific game.
The characters are well written, the open world is just beautiful (so people who love open world games as much as I do will love this one) and the story has one of the most heartbreaking endings I've ever seen.
I can understand if the beginning comes across as extremely boring in the snowy mountains, but you just have to give the game time.
And from the point where you can explore the open world for the first time, it's just a great feeling. There's so much to discover and so many side quests. I didn't get bored at any point.
And a big pro also goes to the main character Arthur Morgan. He is one of the most interesting protagonists I have ever played in a game.
I never really liked GTA, but this game in the style of the Wild West really convinced me.
I'm even thinking of taking a look at the online mode, which is also supposed to be pretty good.

The gameplay of Days Gone is a lot of fun. Exploring the open world on a motorcycle was great. And when the hordes showed up, I went straight in the other direction😂.
The only thing where the game is a bit weak is the story. In itself, it's not even a bad idea that the protagonist finds out in the apocalypse that his wife is still alive and he is looking for her.
But from the point where the wife is found, it's kind of disappointing. And somehow I'm not a big fan of his wife either😅.
And I have to say that the game is way too long. I think you play about 40 hours (if not longer) and there the developers could have really cut something.

So in the end, the gameplay is good, but the story rather less.

It was fun to play as Adam Warlock.
The rest of the game is pretty bland, the characters are lifeless and just seem dumb.
The story isn't particularly satisfying either, the twist at the end is okay, but doesn't make the game any better.

This was my first Far Cry game and maybe it will be my last.
The antagonists of the game were so annoying that I mostly skipped the cutscenes. And the NPC characters had more life in them than the main character I played.
I also just felt empty at the end. The ending felt like I did everything in this game world for nothing.
There is still the sequel New Dawn, but I don't think I will play it.
