Abandoned after 90 minutes.

I really liked Mini Metro but something was lost here, I just found it very tedious.

Found it repetitive and tedious by like the third mission.

Not bad. Cool vibes and ambience, but puzzles were a weak spot.

Fun and creative, but felt a little directionless. Like the vibes were cool but the story is more like snippets of ideas rather than a fully story.

2019

To start off I was disappointed by the lack of modern support for a game that’s not that old- it had an accompanying phone app that doesn’t work with PS5.

For the game itself, I enjoyed it. I was impressed by the quality of the acting and cinematography. The story is solid if not too special.

A fun setting and story. While combat starts off strong it really falls off as it just doesn’t develop anywhere interesting.

2023

I really liked this game, but it is seriously hampered by technical issues. There was one point that I was softlocked out of the game and had to wait for a patch to progress.

But it’s a testament to how much fun I had with the game that I actually came back. The gameplay really works and the visuals are amazing.

It’s still got its technical problems but it’s now been patched to a point that I can recommend it.

On the plus side, the puzzles never get too stale.

On the downside, they never get that interesting either and I never felt super clever for solving one.

The story complete nonsense, made worse by how much time they dedicate to it. Also I’m sure some people must like that music but honestly it was physically painful at times.

I really enjoyed the story and found the characters interesting. The gameplay is alright but gets stale.

Fun combat, dynamic gameplay, really enjoyed it. On the downside I found the story hard to follow but was along for the ride.

2022

Started off great but gets a little annoying by the end with stingy check-pointing

Pretty good for a game primarily about vibes

It's pretty but not enough of a game to be a puzzle game and not enough freedom to be sandbox.

Its big flaw is that it really didn’t need to exist, there was nothing too new in the gameplay and the story didn’t add much. That said it was fine with gameplay probably marginally better than the base game.

Playing in late 2023, the game ran just fine but the core of it still isn’t great. I had some fun with the game but gameplay is lacking, story is cool but confusingly told, and nothing really stands out.
