a really beautiful world. i don't know if any other team's first game has ever been this good
they really put a lot of love into this that you don't normally see with licensed games. it feels like the developers were big fans of spongebob which is such a treat

this was an absolute blast. some of the later levels get very challenging but it never felt unfair

a bit of a step down from battle for bikini bottom. still not a bad time at all and putting Goofy Goober Rock as the final boss song is the best thing they could've done for this game and they DID so that's pretty amazing. they even psych you out with that by saving it for the final phase

extremely disappointing. they're more focused on being a brand than releasing genuinely finished products. this doesn't feel like a video game

it's nothing special but it might be my favorite mario kart. i only have good memories with this entry. i loved the weird driver roster and its criminal that the wuhu island tracks never made their way into 8 or deluxe. this is the game that ended up damaging my R button

one of my favorite fanworks ever made for a game. 2kki surpasses the original in many ways, but it wouldn't be as great as it is without the solid foundation set by the first and its many fangames. it's truly worthy of being crowned a sequel to yume nikki
