It feels wrong to rate this game 5 stars with how I yell about how much this game sucks, but I do love it a lot. It's my first real fighting game, it has my favorite fighting game character of all time (Wii Fit Trainer), so what other reasons do I need? I play the game competitively, and it's been nothing but wonderful other than the emotional rollercoaster that is bracket, but it's wonderful to play and watch. I really do love this game.

This. Was a game. I do love it, Ukelele Pichu is an underrated Pokemon character, the ranger designs are cool, the use of Legendary Pokemon was very fun. But the use of the touch screen to draw signs to summon these legendaries felt very clunky, especially towards the end when you have to draw a star to summon Ho-oh. Alongside this the multiplayer mode was extremely fun, but it's about impossible to find friends to play it with. I'm playing Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs, do you expect to have up to three friends to play the multiplayer with?
Frankly, this game is up there with Mystery Dungeon in terms of quality. It's more fun than the original by far, and the story is much better too. It's one of the best uses of a mythical Pokemon I've ever seen. It was great, I loved every second of this game and I want to play it again at some point.

Honestly I got this game for Christmas as a kid, I think, and I never expected it to be so good. But it impressed me, the gameplay is fun, the music is good, its a good spinoff. It can't compare to Mystery Dungeon, but it's not TRYING to be Mystery Dungeon, its trying to be a new spin on being a Pokemon game.
It does it quite well.

This game is also has a charming style like the games before it, but it has some issues that Red, Blue and Yellow didn't including an odd level cap and a semi-boring region to explore. Places like the Ruins of Alph seemed like they wanted to do more, but they didn't. Other than some small things like this, it's a wonderful Pokemon game, and the first game to include a male and female protagonist.

Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow are the first in the series, they look and sound like hell, yet they remain charming. The games are held together with glue and a dream, and you can use them to execute arbitrary code, you can catch around 200 glitch Pokemon AND you can transfer some of them to Gold and Silver with other glitches. These games are rough, but the glitchiness and the roughness makes it a charming experience.
