(this was during 2022 so pardon me if things have changed since that point)

everything added to the game up until post-moon lord is really fun bar only a few bosses like cryogen who youre intended to fight right after entering hardmode but is so much more harder than queen slime and the mechs.

unfortunately it all falls apart after moon lord and i gave up on it after beating the profaned guardians. the progression and balancing just goes completely off the deep end alongside the boss design. incredibly sad cause its kind of peak up until that point

half life 1 except they put marginally less thought into the level design. still a lot of fun though

i loved the dialogue, world and humour from what i managed to play. however just like every pre-2000s point and click it suffers from being incredibly cryptic! and constantly having to pull out some video guide is genuinely miserable. i will give credit where its due though and say that for the most part the solutions to each scene/area i got through made sense after actually finding out what they were. go play the two main psychonauts games instead if you want more of what this has

really good game with a few rough edges that im uncertain will ever be polished. story mode was good all around, multiplayer battles can be a mixed bag - whilst i quite oftenly do get to play it at its best (full focus with a solid and balanced team) quite oftenly i will get put on teams that have awful weapon balancing and are practically set up to lose no matter how good we play (for example a team of all backline, long range weapons) whilst other times the simple fact that me and my teammates can be operating without the same amount of game awareness/knowledge will net us a loss and it can tend to be infuriating. ranked modes are definitely the highlight of multiplayer battles as turf war can tend to be unfair or just downright stupid a lot of the time.

salmon run is just as much a mixed bag, at its best it can also feel really fun to play but at the time of writing this people are still adjusting to the difficulty and learning how to cooperate well with other players and as a result you will be faced with a lot of uphill battles - which isnt caused by people simply 'playing badly' but rather the intense learning curve and invisible skill range that exists at the modes top rank (eggsecutive vp) where you'll either be paired with people who will operate at a mile a minute and practically carry you or people that just arent ready for the difficulty of eggsecutive vp but are at that rank anyways because its too easy to get to. the game encourages you to reach high levels of eggsecutive vp for rare badges that go on your profile for bragging rights but doesnt account for how downright harsh it can be to even come close to getting them - enemy waves seem to have very little rhyme or reason (besides a boss enemy limit for each individual boss type) and you'll either be on easy street for the entirety of some games or be bombarded with high health, high maintenance enemies in others.

that isnt even to mention the problems with some of the map design in both salmon run and multiplayer battles, and how useless some weapons can be in salmon run (rapid blaster pro and splattershot pro are great examples of this) made even more insulting by the fact you cant pick what weapons you get in that mode either. overall its still easy to have fun with the game, but i just wish they had a bit more enthusiasm with making the game more balanced and fair at a core level in both its multiplayer versus and co-op modes - and also more amibition with adding new content.

also theres lots of connection errors. and the fps chugs sometimes in salmon run lol

im the british friend who got that guy this game

ive played this for just under two hours and im convinced if i play it for any longer my eyes will glaze over permanently. funny game

this and the first game still hold up very well to this day. combat felt a bit slower than the first game but it makes up for that with the gravity gun which is way too much fun to pass up using at nearly every opportunity given. gordon freeman is my little meow meow.

god i miss this so badly. source of one too many injokes with my friends is pretty much a shell of its former self nowadays...

one of the only turn based jrpgs i could gladly sit down and sink a few hours at a time into. not that all the other ones are bad i just have adhd. funny mario

very fun game with friends. the mod that turned the zombies into fall guys really was the icing on the cake though

this game left a scar on my mind that never truly healed. especially the cutscene where the rabbids snap a dogs neck and start spinning it around... i wish i was joking

i 100% very few games but i was more than wanting to with this one after reaching the ending of the base game. if you want precise and satisfying movement that constantly gets tested and expanded upon the further you go in you gotta play this

if you can play this online its well worth your time. unless you want character variation at which point you may as well off yourself

playing this game makes me feel like im about to go into cardiac arrest

funny little rpg maker horror game. that about sums it up
