Best one since Black and White 2. Crusty as FUCK but it's really damn addicting and fun. The sidequests are actually engaging too and game freak actually put effort into writing good dialog for this game. I'll remember the pickle jar lady forever. Need to finish to give it a score but I'm positive on it.

it does what it needs to do, and that's being a good batman video game. I like the story as a batman story, and I like the game as just a game. good stuff, although a little annoying at times.

top tier kirby, levels are always trying something new, the exploration and the challenges are fun. Mouthful is a lot like how the Robobot was utilized in Planet Robobot, in which every time it's used, they use it well. I'd even say I like Mouthful a little more.

no doubt this is the most passion put into a star wars product in quite some time. it's still funny in the same goofy corny way as all of these games, the combat is actually insane this time, the levels are all nice and fun, the collectathon nature of getting kyber bricks is fun, and I like the various puzzles.
but it does have "modern game syndrome" in which the UI sucks and has an overabundance of way points. The camera can also feel cramped in shut off environments, like the in first level of Episode IV.
but overall, good game and I am having more fun than Elden Ring lol lmao.

so I tried out Gunvolt 1, and wasn't big on it. I didn't get it, so I moved to 2 and now I think this may be one of my favorite games now. It's insanely fun. Copen is the most fun I've had controlling an action game character and Gunvolt feels about the same but he actually clicked with me now.
But maybe that's because this game feels way easier than GV1, with the Kudos (the point multiplier system) gain being lost on 3 hits by default. But I think this is a good way to get started out on this system so you can later S or S+ ranks on the other levels using the other difficulty option, which is the default from GV1.
Don't really care about the story but whatever all I know is Copen is a horrible racist towards Adepts for whatever reason and Gunvolt has to save someone and stop a conspiracy I think.

simply put, one of the best beat em ups on the market right now. game is a joy to play, music is phenomenal, sprite work is a beauty.

stupid, bizzare, erratic but pulls it off with an experts hand that it makes you sit down and go "okay so what DOES all this bullshit mean." ultimately reminds me of a point and click adventure with a big ol revolver, solving puzzles and unravling this conspiracy while shooting manically laughing deformed humans. it's killer7, and no other game is gonna be killer7.
I need to go back in time to 2019 to stop all slander against this game. It's truly nothing like any game I've played. It's relentlessly engaging as you keep working towards reconnecting this broken America, every package, every road built, every BT delt with, every cutscene, all keeps you pondering about the game. How does this world work, what are the beaches, what the hell is DOOMs, the fuck is Chirality? All these bullshit ass kojima words make sense to you once you start getting into the game. It's a game thats not afraid to be itself and I love it. It has the audacity to call a man who works at the Wind Farm, "Jake Wind", and I love that. It's kojima's own vision no matter how stupid, how cool, how thought provoking, its all this in this game. I'm floored at how much I adore everything about this game. It's going to end up being my favorite game I played this year.
