Really strong art direction, and a lot funnier than I thought it was going to be for a game written in old english. The characters are great and I really enjoyed the combat even if it was on the simpler side. If you're looking for unique rpgmaker games to play like the classics, you should probably check this one out too.

If you like DBD already its fun for a little bit, but it does have that "stink" of a joke gone too far. It's something for DBD fans to play for about 2 hours and move along - not really worth getting at full price imo. I think I would like it more if it honestly wanted to be a sim, but it mostly wants to be a joke, and its boring to play the same horny joke over and over again.

It's very beautiful, but admittedly I didn't feel any of the narrative emotional beats much. The music was grand and impressive when it was playing, but there were also long stretches of nothing. The puzzles were fine, but I have to echo the criticism that INSIDE did the format a little better. It's still a gorgeous piece of art, but that is where most of the enjoyment is found in this game.

Cute, quick, and straight forward. It's like pokemon snap with some slightly creepier elements, and a tad shorter than expected. I was very charmed by it, but I do wish it was a little longer. Maybe only an hour or two.

its fun with friends, but I turned off voice chat immediately. I really like that melee characters are very viable even against ranged opponents, and the game itself is pretty stylish. It's a bit chaotic at times, but I've yet to play a character based shooter that wasn't lol. Overall, I'm really glad its back!

I'm not usually a fan of rogue-likes, but the turn-based combat of this game scratched my brain so exceptionally, it was hard to stop playing and do other things. The music bangs, the story made me more emotional than I was expecting, and my only real critique is that I'd love more of it. All good things must come to an end, and what a beautiful ending it was

The negotiations in this game are soooo fun. Many games give you options to talk your way out of a situation, but its often at the cost of interacting with the fun mechanics - but i love that in this game the negotiations are their own thing, and theres quite the emphasis on playing them AND fighting normally. The art style is quite good, and I love the designs.

The music could be better, but outside of battle themes I found myself ignoring a lot of it. I could see it made that way as to not distract from reading, but it still feels like a miss. I also don't see myself doing more than a few more runs after beating the campaigns once, but that's a personal thing.

I liked this title a lot more than I thought I would! The writing was also very witty, and while the plots were not life-changing, they were fun and engaging. I'll def be picking up a run here or there to pass time.

Genuinely great ecosystem design but after a good amount of hours dying, watching some guides, and then dying again I have decided this simply might not be the game for me and thats ok. (It's definitely a skill issue)

Mostly a very atmospheric city to run around in - the scale feels both small enough to remember but huge enough to feel grand which is honestly its coolest part. The lighting and sound are big things that stuck out to me. Didn't know it used AI art till i saw reviews and double checked it - which is a bit disappointing. I feel like the best parts of this game were already there and it didn't need generated textures to feel uncanny.

One can assume it was the point to use AI to give that uncanny feel, but considering the current climate around it possibly taking my job, I really can't find enjoyment or artistic fulfillment in something like that. Just kinda how it is.

Once I heard this game was "kinda like Chulip" I knew I had to check it out. It really doesn't disappoint - it's relaxing and quirky with mysteries and characters that keep you interested throughout the journey. The art is really refreshing, and I quite like the writing for a lot of the dialogue - its very witty and thoughtful.

I do have a few critiques - I think for a game about learning how to enjoy and experience life, you do spend a lot of time collecting the currency of the game. The racing mini-game in particular I really got tired of about halfway through. I also kinda wish you were able to do more personal side-quest type of stuff for fun - similar to animal crossings or even Chulip - but that's also my personal bias. I think I would've connected with some of the less important mons that way. Some of the tracks in the game could've been different from the dominant overworld track. While that track is lovely, it does get old, and every time I heard a different track I perked up - but they are almost always in a single spot you'll never be in for long. I also was unable to get the "producing a poo" achievement despite very much producing a poo. u_u

That all being said, I'm really glad I took a chance on this title - its weird and optimistic in a way I really vibe with. This game just oozes with the personality of its creators in a really great way. What a fun piece of art, I'll definitely be returning to it in the future : ]

Short and sweet game that while very charming, I am glad I picked up on sale. Customer service gameplay mixed with the child-like awe of flipping through a Dragonology 101 book. LOVED that the art book was included at the end and the developer explained their process - it kinda shot up the review by half a star, I found a lot of enjoyment in it : ]

I wouldn't say this game is scary, but it's quirky and unique in a way that is compelling enough to keep a players attention through the gameplay of "listening to phone calls and reading".

The writing of this game really pops out at times in a great way - the surreal end of it all mixed with fake job optimism mumbo-jumbo is really fun to explore in this weird world. I really appreciate the dedication to enforcing the power of choice. At just about 2 hours, its worth a playthrough if u like weird little visual novels!

A supremely weird point and click mystery that really rules. I have so few notes, it feels like a game that is exactly what it wanted to be. It really kept me interested in all the moving parts the whole way through. Absolutely a must-play if you want to work on unique world building. I think the ending I got was a smidge sudden, but overall, what a hell of a ride.

Extremely satisfying with a surprising amount of robust assets to decorate with. In the future, I would love to be able to scroll through individual categories and change some hotkeys to my own liking. Its a great game to just decorate some houses and relax : ]

Recommended by a friend, not my thing but its very occasionally funny. The experience is like getting hit with a bat repeatedly, I cant say I recommend it.
