Great visuals, music, gameplay, story, plot twists, dialogue quality and realism, level design, suspense, and mystery.
It's great for its tiny size of 26 GB. You would expect a game like this to take up way more space, but here we are. Technology, amirite?
Even if it's a pretty good game, it's not without flaws. There are many visual glitches I've encountered, as well as facial animations that fail to measure up to the quality of dialogues full of emotion.
Also, there was one inconsistency that I noticed. I didn't take the bottle of scotch from Icarus, and in a further mission, when James interacts with another bottle of scotch, he says, "I borrowed one from Icarus." But given how the story unravels, one might reject calling this an inconsistency.
Another thing is that I might've said this before, but I hate to bear the consequences of my actions, so playing these multiple choice games where a dialogue alters the whole course of the game stresses the fuck out of me. However, I could tolerate it for this instance and only restart from checkpoint twice.
All in all, this is a great game that you should definitely play.
"sleep of reason produces monsters"
There is not much to say about this game other than that it's basically Cat Quest 1 but better. Bigger map, more dungeons, more quests, 2nd vendor, 2nd hero that helps you as an AI or you can switch to it while playing alone, or a furend that controls it—sadly, I lack the furend to play co-op, but depending on what I've read from other people, they say co-op is great.
Meow, the map is bigger and features a dawg empire! They have already teased this in the prequel, and they didn't back down; on the contrary, they delivered yet another fun game! Props to Gentlebros! They made the mechanics more diverse by adding Royal Arts, separating the vendors into two: one specializing in weapons and the other in clothing. Also, there were more and better spells!
This was much more fun than the prequel, that's unquestionable. However, in the first game, we had flying, which made traversing around the map easier, but we don't have that fast traverse in this game. They added fast running, which activates when you run for about a second or two without getting interrupted. But still, that is not enough; the max speed in this game is lower than in the prequel, and the map being bigger makes it a little troublesome.
Another thing is that I didn't get the feline to finish this game 100%, which is related to me having 100%ed Cat Quest 1 about 10 days ago. So, don't be like me and have some more mental resilience.
Still a furry pawsome game!
See y'all in Cat Quest 3!
Halo Infinite is visually the best. Music, atmospheres, and cinematography are still breathtaking. The game introduces many new mechanics that make the gameplay even better. The grappling hook, scanning, better sounds, weapon cooling, fast travel, optional missions, open-ish world, territory control, many new guns, upgrade system, collectibles, and different augments add a lot of depth. The AI slot on the back of Master Chief's head lights up green when the Pilot talks and blue when the AI talks, which is a neat detail. Cutscenes play in real time and include our current weapon, which I found both cool and funny, especially when you equip a big weapon. Refilling weapons and being able to throw canisters are amazing; these made the game more entertaining and easier to play than ever. I liked the loading screen tip that says, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." In the ending, I found out that you can grapple guns, and it switches the guns in your hand with the gun you grappled. Don't be like me and discover this feature early...
The story overall was just 'good', apart from the not-mentioned retcons and tons of stuff that happened offscreen. I was waiting for a Cortana and Master Chief reunion, which did not happen. When did Cortana do all that? What has happened since Halo 4? Making Halo 5 exclusive for Xbox consoles was a bad move, as there is a HUGE lore gap between Halo 4 and Halo Infinite for us PC gamers. But even so, from what I've read, I'd still not get the story because of offscreen stuff. The characters and overall writing were great, IF you take the story as is and do not compare it to the prequels, AND don't think about offscreen stuff. The chemistry between characters is nice. I like how they explain the Pilot's name in the end and leave Weapon's name as a cliffhanger, which divides the community, but in reality, nobody has a clue, lol. Finding Pilot's holo message in the ending was frustrating for me because I was waiting for a fight and there was no enemy. Then I saw the objective "find the Pilot" and kept searching the same two floors for a long while. I'm glad there are walkthroughs for people like me, lol.
Enemy reactions, dialogues, and interactions between themselves were pretty advanced and entertaining compared to the prequels.
Boss fights are pretty cool and have some depth to them at some point, but unlike the prequels, there are no significant missions that make you go, "HELL YEAH!" They aren't that unique and epic.
