I'm glad DJMax got an official release on PC. A great port but I'm also too broke to buy all the DLCs.

I can't express how much this game changed my viewpoint on switch rhythm games. Just thanking God my controller is still intact.
The DLC packs are honestly really great and I can't even explain how tight the gameplay is. Just a really fun time waster overall

I added a mod from the modding discord that adds most of the PDX songs and I don't really pick up my PS4 to play that game anymore since they're all on my emulated version of this game

One of my main rhythm games, also probably the best way to play an official PD game if you can fix the framerate issues the PC port has
It’s Sunday, 07/23/2023 and I have lost all my progress because steam cloud sucks doodoo and corrupted my currently accumulated EX and EXEX perfects save data into nothingness. Don’t forget to export your saves guys or use Diva Mod Loader for the diva save mod. I’m lucky I was paranoid enough to at least have videos and recordings of all of them in my Twitch and YouTube

THE DEFINITIVE way to play PD songs on PC. Not only does it have its own community and official selection of songs, but you can ALSO import MM+ into it if you own the game and the DLC AND import PPD beatmaps into it as well in a pretty intuitive way. Can't stress enough how universally accessible this game is for a PC PD player

I'm actually obsessed with this game. I didn't know it could get any better after curtain call but, I was pleasantly surprised. More content, a more engaging story-mode and the mapping improved by a lot. Probably won't see me playing any other game aside from this for a while

I vividly remember this being one of my very first rhythm games on my very first iPad along with osu!stream (hot garbage) and LLSIF (now dead, RIP). I really like the three-way note approach but because of that the difficulty spike can be BRUTAL

Love the community maps. I get a little confused by the visual cues though when some maps change BPM or tempo (but that happens with a lot of other rhythm games so it's mainly a skill issue on my part)

The general UI feels really, indie? Like it’s obvious one person made this game. Not that that’s a bad thing, I actually quite like it since it gives it a certain charm. The quality of the mapping can be varied, but overall I had a lot of fun with this game. And for the price of free? And still getting updated? With a shit ton of songs? This game is an overall banger

I live in Toronto, and the only accessible place that has this cabinet and is also relatively close to me as a broke, non-driving university student is the singular Dave and Busters location just outside the city and one of only two D&B's in the province (or country, need to double check). Was it worth the trip? I don't know, one of the buttons on the pad was faulty but goddamn I'd be lying if I said I didn't have fun

I had more fun with this game than I expected! The timing window judgement is hard to get used to and is fairly strict, but still really fun to learn. The approach lane is also really interesting but can get really disorienting really fast. I’m glad IA and producers who use her at least got some flowers and appreciation through this game

The songs blend into each other and it's really nice to just turn off my brain and let my body go autopilot to play this game. The aesthetic is very nice, and the different note variations are easy to pick up and understand. Story is really stilted though but doesn’t really ruin my experience

I like the aesthetic as well as the base song selection. I love their DLC philosophy of "one-time purchase" and you'll get any future song packs
To backtrack, they don't sell the DLC that unlocks future song packs anymore. Sucks, and I'm not sure if it's my computer, but I'm also starting to notice frame drops and stutters. Rarely see myself booting this game up anymore because of it.

The only exposure I have to the persona series is the hour I spent playing P5 and being forcibly fed the soundtrack for both the SMT and Persona series. The music for the persona series slaps and I've heard this is the best one in the dancing series and I can see why. Song list is pretty good. Story mode, even though I don't really understand for the most part, seem like really good fanservice for the fans. Gameplay wise, it's a little hard following the mapping given that its hard to distinguish what part of the song the rhythm is following. The approach lanes are too far apart for me too but I'll probably get used to it the more I play. When I get the chance I'll probably look into the other dancing series games but for now I'm content with this one

It's cute, that's for sure. I see what the humour and the story is trying to capture and it's not really my thing, but I can see why someone might enjoy how corny this game is. As a rhythm game, it's alright. It uses a single lane, three-button approach and it's honestly pretty easy in my opinion. I enjoyed the soundtrack though, and it definitely made my experience with this game a little better than lackluster because of it. Overall an okay game

This game is so silly in a really camp way. My favourite aspect is by far the soundtrack though, it's so bombastic and fits the theme the game is going for to a T. But as a rhythm game, the timing can be really iffy. Although playing it with a PaRappa mindset (I don't know how to explain it, I think anyone reading this will get what I mean by it) kind of makes up for how janky the timing can get

Really fun! The gyro mechanics are a little hard to gauge though, it's hard to tell if the way you're holding the phone can actually detect the rotations you're doing. It's a very huge problem for me given that I... kinda move a lot and tend to be very harsh in movement when it comes to rhythm games. Also, reading the types of notes are hard with the default skin, thank god they have more options. Note hitsound also sounds like ass so I turned that off too. Overall an interesting experience, I like how experimental it is and for the price of the base game it's well worth its price

I don't know if this is a popular opinion, nor do I really care to check since I don't know anyone who plays this game, but this game's UI is butt-ugly. Definitely prefer the first game in that regard. The story is better but honestly that's about the only thing I like more from this game compared to the first. Too much grinding and replay just to unlock not even a smidgen of progress

Music in this game is honest a banger, but the fucking circle pad notes suck (on the switch version, idk how it is on other consoles/pc). Barebones as hell when it comes to gameplay though, wish they did more with the lane approach

I wish I liked this game more but man, sometimes the timing really fucked me over. It has a lot of charm though and it won me over in that regard

I felt high and overstimulated playing this game. It’s like baby’s first Crypt of the Necrodancer with all the colours everywhere and movement based on the rhythm gameplay. Actually losing my mind over this game and I feel like my brain is melting off the longer I play

This game is hard in a way I wish it wasn’t. Maybe it’s skill issue on my part but, playing this game on touchscreen does not feel good at all and is most definitely where my main issues lie in regards to its difficulty. As a rhythm-platform in the same vein as the bit.trip runner series though, I think it does it pretty well. Visually a little confusing, but I like the added difficulty it brings. I just wish the mobile Netflix versions were better to control.

The story was fairly short and I honestly kind of snoozed through it. Gameplay difficulty can be quite steep, but manageable if you’ve played a similar six-button circle layout like the Persona Dancing series. Overall a really cute way to spend your time

I can't recommend the PC version of this open-source game. Mainly played this on my iPad and I had no complaints. Actually had a lot of fun with it and much of the game modes are very intuitive on touch screen controls

Very reminiscent of voez gameplay-wise. At the moment, not a lot of songs are out but I really enjoyed the mapping and song selection. Story is negligible though and I found myself dozing off and just tapping discriminately

I rated this higher than it objectively deserves because the song list in the game featured some of my favourite “cute girls doing cute things” anime that ended up giving me a huge wave of nostalgia. Sometimes it’s okay to be biased <3 gameplay-wise though this is as bare bones as a diva-like game can get.

Has the same DLC philosophy as Muse Dash with the "lifetime season's pass" thing with their "Friends Forever" pack. It’s a fun time waster, also has an interesting selection of maps and is still being regularly updated. The quality of the maps are a little weird sometimes (from pretty good to absolute garbage) but I still come back from time to time

I need more people to know about this game. 6k type of VSRGs are just hella awesome to me and this fits the bill in a lot of neat ways. Song selection is kinda stale though.

I didn't know I needed this game until now to cure my inner y2k girlie. The songs were pretty boring and the touchscreen was unbearable for harder songs but god this game takes the inner style over substance enjoyer out of me. Such a cute game and really fun overall

I'll be honest, this game is really ugly. It plays similarly to ADOFAI, and between the both of those games, I'd rather play ADOFAI than this one. The song selection isn’t exactly the most enticing either. Though the game isn't inherently bad though, I just don't see myself coming back to it.

I really appreciate the minimalistic look! Menu UI was hard to navigate in the beginning though, did not understand where anything was. This game is very reminiscent of Groove Coaster but it doesn't have swipe notes nor judgement times. It's either you tapped/held it or you didn't. It sucks the freeware version only has three songs available, but depending on how I feel about it after a few more replays I might just buy the permanent event DLC (which is very vague in what it offers, something that is making me second guess myself from actually buying it)

Really interesting take on a one-button rhythm game. Lots of fun overall and arknights music is always great. Only gripe I really have is how unclear the row switches are in some songs. Very abrupt and the visual cues are hard to spot.

Love the concept and the untapped market of gay visual novel, mystery, and rhythm game it tried to package all at once. The UI is hot garbage though and the font is really hard to read

Since this game just came out, I think I can excuse a little bit of the ugly UI design and exactly how awful the SFX and general design is both in-game and in the menu. Gameplay is promising though and I’m having fun with it albeit the approach notes and play area are so confusingly pushed way up and feel quite scattered. I also really appreciate the accuracy-based scoring system

Everyone I encounter in this game is already a God and it's very intimidating. Input isn't very rhythm oriented, it's more like "how fast can you tap these buttons before the fourth beat?"

The sprites are very well-done, and visually speaking this game is a treat. The rhythm-heaven like gameplay feels a bit lacking though given that you can’t manually change latency (which messed me up quite a bit in the beginning before I could get used to it). Loading times are frequently long and occasional asset loading is an issue.

I’ve never heard of the compass series prior to trying out this game. It’s especially a shame that I only got to try this game out after live service shut down. No way for me to get other songs nor try out the gacha system. With what I did have though, it was serviceable for what it was. An interesting selection of vocaloid tracks and gameplay very reminiscent of groove coaster. Wish the timing window was better though, given that sometimes my taps weren’t even registered half of the time and judgement is very loose/inconsistent. It would’ve been interesting seeing this game branch out a bit more but that’s just a what if that’ll never get the chance to happen. I’m surprised it even has an offline version after server shutdowns

I wish I liked this game, but it had too much going on and it never really executed any of them very well. The approach lane is hard to read and fairly far from the car, which I think is detrimental given that the positioning of the car and what the characters are shooting at is just as important as the rhythm game aspect itself. Too much eye travel. As well, the button mapping is really unoptimized. Regularly felt my fingers cramping after playing the harder difficulties in this game, which doesn’t usually happen to me. The game has a lot of personality though, and I do like its soundtrack. I just wish the actual gameplay could make me stick around
