best shooter ive ever played, period

dont let the fact that am2r is a fangame scare you off -- id argue that am2r looks and feels just like a mainline metroid title, and the amount of love that went into it is immediately apparent. very damn good game

this just isnt really a doom game. its ok for a horror shooter from its time but its really nothing at all beyond that and the only enjoyment i ever got out of it was from laughing at how dated it is

one of the most fun rhythm games ive played, and one of the best roguelikes too

i think this is a hot take but doom ii is my favorite doom game (even above the newer ones), its so fast and frantic and somehow manages to be one of the most replayable games ive ever played

dont care what anyone says, metroid has an extremely specific vibe that no other game has and i LOVE it.

never really liked the first generation of pokemon games growing up but recently ive gotten super interested in all of the errors and glitches in them, one of my favorite generations solely based on that
