While it is not that great and has many pitfalls and also very cheap kills :D I enjoyed this somewhat, maybe it was the exploration or a small nostalgia factor that I have for this. Disclaimer, if you are used to modern games or are easily frustraded. Do not play this :D

In the scale of NES/Famicom shooters and multiplayers this is top notch. The japanese version has cutscenes, intro and few extra effects in some stages. Banger soundtrack, pure classic. Though nowadays this doesn't really wow anyone and it's a bit short. Still while we play these older games, we should keep in mind the age, 35 years is very old for a game and rate them accordingly.

There's so many, even too many indie games with pixel graphics so it's kind of hard to standout. Well this came a while ago, still stands and holds out. While it did not "wow" me, it just oozes pure quality and that's all there is to it. Just a pure quality and well made homage to retro games.

2012

Cool puzzle platformer with a gimmick which has not been used since, or at least used well. It's top notch, just the optional stuff and navigation put me off great bit sadly.

Surprisingly fun to play. Did not get repetitive and the sound design is spot on. Guaranteed Square quality. No need to be a Mario fan with this one.

Played through this multiple times as a kid, but I think the best part of this game is soundtrack and design. The gameplay itself is kind of interesting but gets repetetive. All around not too long, so worth playing through still.

Very fun game, so much more fun that the first one. Sadly I'm lazy and did not play all of the secrets, which big part of the game.

Nothing much to say here, a classic. Not a very diverse game, and very very short.

Some of the older horror games kinda lose their effect when they get older. Silent Hill on the other hand has aged very well and is quite effective today. Story is basic, but the feeling and atmosphere is spot on.

Perfect modern Point & Click. Great package, from artwork, world design and soundtrack, all the way to character design. I am also fan of ambient and electronic music so the soundtrack is a hit for me. Gladly puzzles are not too cryptic, and it's not too long, when it could become a chore.

Quite similiar to Aria of Sorrow. Bonus points for the ending, soundtrack fits for the game, nothing too memorable. As Aria it flows well, just improved Aria, well I think it depends on the day honestly.

Best GBA Castlevania easily. Not perfect, but quality all around. Fun to play, flows well. Nothing too complicated, also nothing shocking.

Perfect SNES Beat em up, nothing to add.

A much better Castlevania on GBA after CotM. I think everything was just improved upon, bit confusing exploration systemn but nothing huge.

Played Co-Op. I do like this one, though NES beat em ups are quite limited still. Quite easy as well, but great fun.
