Just a really fun pack of party games vaguely reminiscent of Mario Party. Nothing here is in any way going to blow your mind, but it’s still a ton of dumb fun.
Spot the Sneak is genius btw

Glory to Arstotzka!
Relatively short, but really fun!
The gameplay was simple, but not overly simple if that makes sense. Small new mechanics that were added on every subsequent day helped with that.
The artsyle and general atmosphere were great. The bleakness of it all really emphasized how charming the characters were.
The replayability thanks to the game's multiple endings is also neat.

Subtlety, thy name is not David Cage

(Connor and Hank were cool)

I feel like this game retroactively ended up making the first game a little more incomprehensible.
They really shouldn’t have showed Rachel at all. Her set up in the first game was interesting, but her portrayal in this game was kinda lackluster. It almost makes some of Chloe’s actions in the first game make less sense?? Rachel and Chloe’s dynamic also managed to feel worse than Max and Chloe’s somehow.
Everything narrative-wise just felt weirdly rushed and uninteresting to me.

The themes this game was trying to explore were interesting, but gone about really weirdly.
The biggest thing keeping me from liking this game is Chloe. Writing a character that’s intentionally a bad person is one thing, but not even having the ability to acknowledge that said character is a bad person doesn’t sit right with me. If she and Kate had been swapped in terms of narrative roles, I feel like I’d actually have a reason to be invested in the main character’s relationship. Chloe could’ve easily played a similar role as JD from Heathers did, this way her weird manipulative nature around Max would make a little more sense. As it stands now, the game almost feels like it wants you to be supportive of Chloe’s exploitation of Max which puts a bit of a bad taste in my mouth :(

Entirely too much fun

Being able to go on a goofy journey with your friends was a blast.
The job/class options were neat, and battle mechanics (while extremely simple) felt enjoyable.
I honestly just had a ton of fun when it came to customizing outfits, weapons, catchphrases, and the like.

The gameplay and exploration is incredibly fun, but I refuse to go bankrupt by engaging with any of the gatcha elements.
The general vibe of the game felt really cozy though! I loved the soundtrack and visuals.

Incredibly fun to play with a few friends every once in a while!
Though it does suffer from the same problem that games like Gang Beasts do, where everything just starts to get repetitive over time.
It’s still a blast though! And the simple visual aesthetic of it all is really pleasing to look at.

Why were all these minigames so enjoyable??? Obstacle Course went especially hard.

Balance Bubble brings me misery

Matt returned and beat my ass

I am in shambles

My brother slammed his Wii remote into a wall playing baseball and shattered both the remote and his arm
20/10

I’ve had 5 different people tell me that they think the Job Job water dispenser can get it

why

Awesome all around!

Quiplash returns and is as great as it’s always been.
Talking points is a blast, even if you’re terrified of public speaking.
Champ’d Up is right under Tee-KO in terms of being an incredible drawing based game.
Devils and the Details is entertaining in short bursts. I genuinely lost my voice for like half a day because of the sheer amount of screaming over top of each other.
Blather Round is like a weird sleeper hit. Trying to make sense of these weird-ass phrases in a charades-like manner was surprisingly fun.

Just sort of alright all around.

Trivia Murder Party 2 improved upon the original tenfold and is easily one of the best Jackbox games.
Dictionarium is fun the first few times you play it, but gets a little repetitive.
Joke Boat is similar, everyone’s humor slowly deteriorates playing this.
Role Models can be fun, but is really depends on who your playing with. It’s obviously best played with a friend group you know really well.
Push the button is alright, though it’s way too in the alien’s favor.

Really solid pack that gets slightly held back by the fact that Zeeple Dome exists.

Seeing You Don’t Know Jack return was cool and handled pretty well.
Patently Stupid is great with the right people, and has great replay-ability.
Max Verse City is fun, though surprisingly stressful if you put too much effort into it.
Split the Room is a brilliant concept, and if taken seriously, starts a bunch of interesting and stupid conversations.
