Dogen Boole gotta love that little guy

This game was phenomenal. This game understands Rick and Morty. They took the essence of the show and made it into a wonderful 4 chapter experience.

The gameplay is the standard point and click gameplay. It's nothing special, but it's servicable and leads the way for some tricky puzzles and ways to really make your noggin think. Without spoiling much, Chapter 4 DOES spice up the gameplay a little for some extra creative puzzle solving.

The writing is just as comedic as the show itself. The dynamic between the mad scientist Rick Sanchez and his grandson Morty Smith is just as top notch as the series this game is based on. The twists take you for a ride, and the conclusions are almost always satisfying. I say almost because Chapter 4 ends on a sort of cliffhanger. The jokes are hilarious and feel right out of the show. The meta jokes about it being a game are a little repetitive, but barely took away from the experience.

The four original tracks aren't anything special, but again they're servicable and nice to listen to while trying to find your way out of Rick's shenanigans.

Overall, I reccomend this game heavily. I reccomend it if you like Rick and Morty, point and click games, gaming in general, or if you just want a good laugh.

Absolutely amazing. It is definitely the best 2D Metroid in my eyes. Also probably the hardest, but the game never felt like bullshit.
