This game's nice, I like it. I don't care for its story-telling alongside its sequels, but the gameplay, designs and music are tolerable which is what I love about the series. This game also has my favorite design of Sora compared to other appearances he's made in the series.

What happens when you combine Sonic Generations and Sonic Rush, you get exactly this spectacular result of a game. Its fast-paced 2D gameplay embedded with boosting is so rich that its flavored with such unique gameplay mechanics never seen before in a Sonic the Hedgehog game that helps augment to make the gameplay even more flashy and fun.

The soundtrack is near perfection and its a soundtrack I've always wanted to hear in the official Sonic the Hedgehog games, (Ambient Modern DnB / Jungle) and Nekko managed to do it just right to fit within the series' atmosphere. If you haven't checked it out, I'll provide a link to its OST below.

The level design is great, nothing too special but it's really creative and astonishingly well-designed for something that's a fan-game, I love it.

I'll be leaving this review with 4.5/5 stars. If you haven't played this game, please do. For something small, it's packed with gameplay that I think you'll really appreciate.

"MELEEEEEEEE"

Despite the amount of jank this game possesses, I absolutely adore it, it's excellent. I've first tried at my friend's place in 2011 and I thought it was fun, but then I've grown to like it more and more by 2018 as years have passed by then and as of right now, I really enjoy the game so much. Incredible soundtrack and atmosphere, great character models (Yoshi looks absurdly grotesque, though) and its choice of lighting and coloring, sound effects/design, and amazing gameplay.

The Adventure Mode was also a great feature in the game. What I liked about it was that it combined Melee's gameplay and gameplay elements from the character's universe (depending on who you're playing), which gives you a flavor of what usually happens in the series the character represents.

Trophies being added to the game is absolutely an admirable feature for Super Smash Bros. Melee. I love that its descriptions on every single existing trophy in the game mentions details and statistics about certain characters or items representing multiple video game series whether you've heard them or not.

To talk about its gameplay, I find it astonishing, as it introduced a lot of mechanics and techniques that make the gameplay for me a lot more pleasurable, my favorite mechanic being the "Moonwalk" where one executes their Analog Stick to quarter-circle backwards (depending on which direction your facing) which makes the character run backwards for a short moment. Performing or finishing off combos I do on opponents with the tech never fails to leave a smile on my face and I kind of wished that other Smash games would implement this technique, it's the best.

This game's an overall 4.5/5, I love Melee a lot. Out of all Smash games, this one has my favorite opening theme.

"Hurry Mama, give me the booze."

This is my favorite Smash game, and arguably my favorite video game, as well as my first video game growing up as a kid. I was blown away and mesmerized by its gameplay, graphics, music and the amount of content the game features. Sure, competitively speaking, it isn't the best, but at the same time, I couldn't care less about it. Its slow-paced gameplay combined with its items are the best and a lot more enjoyable compared to any other Smash game that featured items and different kinds of mechanics. Matter of a fact, this is the ONLY Smash game where I enjoy playing items with on.

Everything about the Subspace Emissary (besides the Great Maze, what the heck Sakurai), was fantastic. I think every single character in the game had their fair share of spotlight and introduction brought into the story.

So yeah, overall, it's a 4.5/5 for me with this game, I'd recommend it to those that wish to play Smash Bros. casually, it's the best.
