I haven't gotten very far in this game, but to be honest I think it blows complete ass. Dungeon crawling isn't fun, and having to manage party member's wellness outside of their health and mp is VERY annoying, and the story and characters aren't interesting enough to make me want to push through it. From me being spoiled, and from what I've experienced so far, I cannot tell you a single party member who shares a genuine connection with more than two people (excluding the protagonist). I really tried with this game. I even tried playing on FES for a better experience (the dungeon crawling was way worse, but I won't get into it), but it just isn't fun in the first act of the game. Even if the game gets better after that point, it isn't worth playing. Why can't the game start good and at least end decent? It's just a chore to play. The way they summon personas are cool, and there are some good songs, but if there's anything else cool in the game, it'll be a long time before I find out. Maybe even never.

This game is absolutely timeless, and I think everyone should at least give it a try. I feel like if I talk about everything in the story and overall experience I might accidentally write an essay, so I'm just gonna say play it or I'll do something illegal.

I played this game for like the first 10 seasons or so and played less and less as the game got older until the tenth. Then Goku got added and Fortnite instantly became fun again.

For real though, all the changes they made since I wasn't playing were very cool. The map feels less empty, it doesn't take long to get anywhere, and you have a game mode that makes you play against people who have time for having friends instead of this game all day (zero build). What makes me rate this high unironically is all of that, the stuff they do to involve the community, Goku again, and Save the World. StW is an underappreciated gem, and I'm surprised I haven't seen a 17 billion hour long video essay saying so yet.

In conclusion, I've wasted too much money on this game to give it lower than 4 stars.

It is indeed a quirked up game. One could say it's goated with the sauce.

The fall of man. For the love of GOD skip this game, every bad thing said about it is true. When I got to the end and the game said "Oooo, now try playing as Lucia" I almost said out loud "Fuck you game."

I actually liked it the first few weeks, then I realized the game is mid, and now I'm in a hostage situation with this game to play every week to get all the items. This is a cry for help.

The music in this game is insanity inducing. The dungeons might've been fun if it wasn't possible to take two steps and get an encounter right after fighting. If you REALLY wanna experience this game, do it on the easiest difficulty so playing around the janky xp system will be less painful.

This game is sick as hell. It's pretty fun if you have a friend, and while I was doing that I had a magical co-op moment I'll remember forever. While I was testing out new special moves I unlocked, I discovered that you can cancel them into each other and it was so rad. You can do combos like in fighting games, and just do really fun things overall. If you have a friend to play it with, do it right now. It'll be great, trust me.

This is kind of an odd game, but I think it's pretty charming and impressive. That said, you aren't missing out on much playing this game, and you could just move on in the series. For what it is though, it's a pretty fun. It's like a mini metroidvania, so if you've REALLY got an itch to scratch for those on the game boy, have at it.

I'm not joking when I say I think this is one of the best multiplayer shooters on the market. Everything about it just feels great and there's so much depth in the game too. There are lots of creative weapons that can only work in this game, like an umbrella that shoots pellets like a shotgun and opens up like a shield, a pair of hot glue guns that decimate people in a few shots, a a ballpoint pen that's also pretty much a minigun, and so much more. The variety in weapons can give pretty much anyone something they'll love to use. The ranked modes are plenty creative too. Rainmaker is like reverse capture the flag, Clam Blitz is like football if it was epic and cool and good, Tower Control is something I don't have a comparison for, but is still awesome, and Splat Zones is pretty standard king of the hill except you control it by having the zone inked. There's so many different strategies and approaches you can take to each, and it still hasn't gotten even the slightest bit boring. I haven't even started talking about Salmon Run and the singleplayer, but this review pretty much already tells you all that I think about the game.

In conclusion, you should buy this game NOW. And give yourself a piece of that genuinely fun gameplay in the layers of this game that's covered up in plastic so your game doesn't get damaged in this blue trapped bubble.

This game only has value for the roleplaying aspect, which I never even bought it for. Grinding sucks, and the fighting also sucks. And the story. And the balance. And the constant DLC drops. And everything, really. So, at the end of the day, as a Dragon Ball fan, I have to rate this game a perfect 5/5.

It's a masterpiece, a timeless classic, a gem, and worth hundreds of dollars! You cannot call yourself a fan of Dragon Ball if you have not played this game for hundreds of hours, gotten to level 99, and bought AT LEAST half of all the DLC. I will most definitely be buying Xenoverse 3 when it drops on January 2052. As an actual game it gets a two.

Y'know, I miss games like this that actually took risks with a weird concept (yes I know more indie games exist shut up). While this is a shooter, it almost feels more like a trial and error puzzle sometimes. That's not even a bad thing, it's unique and fun. I can tell with this game the devs had fun and wanted you to have fun, with the endless mode and the things you can do inside the game to take a break. I honestly would've been fine with paying more for this game than I did, so I think this is a worthwhile purchase.

I tried playing the PSP version, and I couldn't do it. It was too slow. I heard the PSX version is better, so someone break into my house and remind me to play that later.

Does anyone genuinely like this game? Did they really think those youtubers playing this game were real? Are the people who like this game real? Were they the sussy imposters all along? The world may never know.

There are like a half dozen maps that are actually fun, and sabotaging among us skins is funny, but that's it. I do not have fun with this at all and I'm amazed that other people do. To be honest, I'm surprised other games aren't rated higher than this, but maybe I just have terrible taste.
