Uchikoshi has such a strange voice that I love so much. Sigma is such a shithead and only ever acts like a huge jerk to most characters yet somehow is incredibly endearing. The character-focused endings are cool even if some endings don't actually synch up with the characters they're ostensibly related to.

Liked it a good deal more than the first one. New powers were good, overworld was big and beautiful, good balance of throwbacks and new stuff. Mental worlds were all top notch. Only real issue was the early combat sections didn't feel good because enemies have too much health but that evens itself out quickly enough.

It's so good. I have no words for how godamn good it was. Props to Toby and his team, I cannot physically contain how excited I am for more.

EDIT: Used my older computer to do Weird Route. Toby Fox is the best edgy chuuni writer we have in the game, folks.

Holy. Shit.

Edit: Unless SMTV knocks my socks off, NEO The World Ends With You is very much my Game Of The Year. It's easy to mess up a sequel with this much time between releases, especially one as long awaited as this, but NEO was more than up for it. Perfectly translates the combat's style and flow while upping its ante and keeping the unorthodox controls. In my perfect world the sequel's already greenlit and we get more of this world and its beautiful characters, but the world ends with you.

Miles Morales simply fucking rules

Was on my mind today for whatever reason, I think about it a lot. Gaunter O'Dimm is a terrific villain, repugnant but somehow charming, Everec really may be my favorite character in a series that is packed to the brim with great characters.

The combat's less stellar than the mainline RGG games, but the narrative kept me hooked until the very end. Strongly recommended if you like detective stuff or the Yakuza/RGG games or both

East meeting west in perfect tandem. A story so intricate and precise that it almost defies logic. There's so much to gush about here, it's visually beautiful and the narrative matches it. Don't look up anything, just pick the game up and go, baby!!!

CDPR's strong quest designs and amazing, textured characters are marred by unintuitive gameplay systems and terrible performance. Still a high point of the FPSRPG genre and one of my personal faves for the year. After patches and DLC, this could easily move up a half or whole star.

If you take this for what it is, a high-budget point n click adventure title, and not as an open world Rockstar Game you realize just how fucking awesome this game is.

Aqua is the best KH character and deserves another game. This one has its moments and it was really nice to get a sneak peak at 3 before it released, other than that it's pretty skippable

I very distinctly remember seeing the ending of the game and the send off to Altair, and those nifty first-person block puzzles, but anything else... nothing, completely blank. Almost forgot I played it at all until I remembered I saw it end, lol.
