insanely stylish JSR-like that's hard to get good at but once you know what you're doing it's an all-around fun time, punk as hell and I vibe with it but on switch it does have some technical issues

it's short, sweet, and peach gets to actually do some cool stuff! I don't think it should be full-price because it's not super fleshed out, and there are some bits that are just kind of annoying in spite of how relatively easy the game is overall, but it's a fine experience

incredibly fun and satisfying action-heavy adventure with rhythm mechanics that still work even if you're bad at it, full of hype and some good-ass music

simply a really fun run-n-gun, truly a classic and shows how cool the mega drive was

cool concept with mixed execution, some stages are pretty finicky and it can get kinda repetitive with the multiple playthroughs (one of which, chaotix, kinda sucks) but the good ideas are great fun and neo metal sonic goes hard

calm and relaxing picross-like game that's perhaps almost too simple but it's pleasant, I like it

a tricky puzzle-focused metroidvania with some fun mechanics in a beautiful mysterious environment, a lot of secrets are deeply esoteric and getting everything can be a pain but it's a nice experience in general

high-quality remake of a very fun and charming rpg with some pretty neat battle mechanics, story is nothing crazy and it likes to waste your time in a few areas but it's highly competent at what it sets out to do (also shoutout to vivian being trans and stuff)

2020

very fun roguelite with cool greek myth theming, story and characters don't really grab me but they're fine and the game will keep you occupied for a long while (some might say too long if you want the complete story because that does get grindy)

cute and sweet furry game that also pretty effectively tackles depression and artist's block, the painting mechanics flow really well in the zelda-like gameplay and a lena raine soundtrack is always welcome, I really vibe with it
