Characters were good, but environments felt empty

The gameplay was just not for me

2d platformers just aren't my thing

The world felt too empty, but the game is impressive for a GameCube game.

Controls were not for me, the combat feels off

I understand why people like this game, but the sort of delay in the controls were kind of disturbing

I feel like I could've enjoyed this more if I didn't die so much in the beginning lmao

Controls felt good, the upgrading part was fun. But why is this game so easy?

The graphics are nice, but the level up system is very confusing.

I played this game so much on my psp back in the days. But when I tried it again via emulation, the controls felt so bad.

I played this for around 10 hours and enjoyed it, but at one point the enemies became too difficult for me and I quitted.

Gameplay and graphics are good, but the progression system is not for me.

Gameplay and UI was good, but the controls aged badly.

I played this game so much as a kid, so I'm biased. Overall it's a good game with a progression system I like. It did have a lot of input delay on ps3 though.

Even though I generally don't like 2d platformers, this was surprisingly enjoyable. The art direction is incredibly cinematic, and the boss fights aren't difficult.
