professor layton games always have objectively stupid plots but it's part of the charm. yeah there's a fake london built underneath the real london, what about it. also at one point hershel uses a slot machine gun. 10/10 no notes

i know there was a lot of criticism about characterisation because some people felt they dumbed down phoenix and maya but the truth is that they are stupid. and i love them. good game

i wanted to like this so badly but i felt nothing the entire time

i. really thought i would love this game, but it turns out building wonky carts for every puzzle isn't really fun. i found myself missing the old champion's powers a ton and while i love some of the new characters and designs, playing has so far felt like a slog. maybe i'll come back to it

it wishes it was style boutique (2008). i would rather it was a true visual novel style instead of walking aimlessly in circles in order to find NPCs to dress up. there's no store to buy stuff from. you either have to participate in gacha or hope to god you find a Muse with the exact item you want.

also it somehow manages to be laggy while scrolling through the clothing menu lol. which, you know, is 99% of the gameplay

i was not expecting any of route C to happen and i think it changed me as a person
