I'm gonna be so gutted I can't play this again for the first time. A great atmospheric puzzle game

Never, ever expected Nintendo to even acknowledge this game's existence -- nevermind remake it with such love and care. An extremely special RPG that feels more like its own fully realized work of fantasy than a spin on Mario. Also, Vivian is the GOAT.

did ~25hrs of prep for the DLC. defeated Radhan & Mohg, worked on my build, got all the crafting material bell bearings, got some larval tears for potential respecs, etc.

still so much fun, but i do have a few nitpicks now. the sense of wonder and discovery is lessened when you know you can skip 90% of content. side quests are hard to complete organically and basically require a guide. and the game still has technical issues, in the form of really terrible complication stutter.
