SUPERHOT is the most innovative shooter I've played in years!

gameplay, visuals and the characters are standouts here, especially gameplay using the force to push stormtroopers off cliffs is so fun
map layout is dogwater though and lack of fast travel was a stupid decision

love sniping people in the back through portals
shame it died though

improves upon everything in splatoon 2, except for map design
none of them are memorable
bring back moray and piranha pit you cowards

everything is great about this game tbh
only bad thing is that i always get the worst teammates

2017

tied for second best super giant game with transistor.
the wizard basketball was crazy fun,
the characters were all amzing and i had a hard time choosing who to let go (I chose hedwyn first cause I wanted him to have a happy life)

new mechanics are great, but the best part is easily the characters/voice acting/dialogue. this is the only game where Ive actually laughed out loud. cave johnson is hilarious

literally just pokemon sun/moon but 10x better

the pokemon designs are great, but the good stuff stops there: story is just plain boring, team yell is annoying, i want to murder hop, leon isnt great champion and, of course, dexit.
But coming back from pokemon scarlet, it definetly looks better and runs better, but thats not very hard to do

pokemon designs were mostly great, especially decidueye, alolan ninetails, and the UBs. story was great, wasnt too bothered by the cutscenes
also loved gym leaders being replaced by totem pokemon

the game at its core is actually really fun and the story and characters are the best in the series, behind gen 5 of course.
but oh my god is this game not nice to look at. the frame drops are horrible, especially in tagtree thicket, but the environment looks worse than ones on the n64

nice art direction
actually kinda liked the catching mechanic
but kanto is still the most boring region
