It’s hard deciding whether this game or New Leaf is the best in the franchise but you can’t deny that New Horizons brings a lot of quality of life improvements that make going back to older games a bit of a struggle. I always come back to the Animal Crossing franchise when I want to wind down and relax and the island atmosphere makes that feeling even better in New Horizons.

Persona 5 felt like a phase of my life with how long I’ve been playing it for. Good thing the game is fantastic with an excellent story, characters, gameplay, and soundtrack. I definitely understand all the praise it received when it first released. It’s probably now going to be on a list of my favorite RPGs.

Part 2 continues the brilliant story of Last of Us telling a tale that changes Ellie. The gameplay is greatly improved and just feels a lot smoother to control. Helps that the remaster boosts the frame-rate while also introducing a new mode in No Return. Overall just a better version of one of my favorite games.
This was always my favorite kart racer as a kid aside from Mario Kart. It has a great sense of speed and if you love drifting then it has a great system to master. There are a lot of references to Sega's library of games. I own this on Steam now and the only thing it's missing is the Metal Sonic DLC pack, hopefully one day this can get a rerelease on modern platforms.

Honestly aside from performance boost and some extra characters this game doesn’t really do anything new. The campaign cuts out a lot of cool fights. Gameplay is still good but just feels like wasted potential. There is a new Boruto story for fans of that series but it wasn’t something I could get into.
