Amazing game, and my favorite platformer. I need to replay this and try out all the stuff added since I last played (I have not played Farewell yet, don't judge me).
This game is a masterpiece in story telling and platforming. There’s a reason why it won game of the year. I got all the way through chapter 9, but stopped at where it requires you to get all the hearts to progress through the rest of the chapter. I got all the hearts except for the B-Sides of 7 & 8, which I found virtually impossible for me to complete. A rather unsatisfying way to end it, but I’m happy with how much effort I put in to beat as much as I could and how much of the game I actually did complete. Strawberries: 172/175
The gameplay mechanics are very smooth and feel nice, and the fast respawn time is refreshing and keeps you engaged to keep trying. One chapter was very unenoyable and not because it was too hard but because it messed with the amazing feeling movement. The game is short which is nice and the story is modern. Solid 7/10 game and great platformer.
