Inclusion: Seeing Sora finally enter the game made me absolutely giddy. I was almost convinced that it was impossible by the usual excuses, so it was satisfying to see that he was not only in the game, but was THE most requested character in the whole game. Kingdom Hearts is very close to my heart, and seeing its representation filled me with so much immense joy.

Fighter: I must have some weird condition that makes me play annoying characters because of character loyalty because Sora's now one of my mains. I think that some things people say are a bit exaggerated, but I can't deny that he has a pretty frustrating playstyle. I do think that his focus on aerial movement is actually pretty fun to navigate with, I don't really get the same feeling as people who say he controls really badly.

Stage: Hollow Bastion is great, there's so much attention to detail around everything surrounding the location. The transformation into Dive to the Heart is also breathtaking, I love all of the art of the characters that shows up during this transformation too. I love how it's also a stage that's perfectly legal, much like Sephiroth's. Easily makes it one of my most played stages.

Music: The music here is really great, Shimomura's work on the series is spectacular, but it does run into a problem I have with Sora's representation in general. It leans a bit too much on KH1 for his moveset and music, when some elements from other games, hell even just 2, would've been appreciated. A few more remixes would've helped too.

Incredibly happy to see him in the game and a great way to send off a game that defined an era of my life. (Also please fix the cover here so it's consistent with all of the other DLC fighters)

When I saw the reveal trailer for Sora my mind was absolutely blown away. I am a huge Kingdom Hearts fan and have wanted to see Sora in Smash just as long as I had wanted Banjo-Kazooie in Smash, but with Disney having part of the rights to Sora I always excused it as an impossible dream. They also went above and beyond and added other costumes of Sora's outfits from other games. Hollow Bastion is a really cool stage that almost can function as 2 stages as it transitions into Dive into the Heart. Moveset-wise, Sora's moves are almost perfect. The counter should have been replaced with one of Sora's more iconic moves like Ars Arcanium or Strike Raid. Music is extremely limited which is my biggest gripe with the DLC, but considering its a miracle Sora is in this game to begin with, it can be excused. Not the best with him, but whenever I win games with both him & Banjo it feels good. Just being able to see them crossover with Mario and countless other iconic video game characters makes me very happy as I am a massive fan of both of their franchises and am shocked to see them.

well it was bound to happen but to be honest I can't help but feel underwhelmed. don't get me wrong I don't hate his inclusion and I'm happy that Kingdom Hearts fans finally got their wish. I also think Kingdom Hearts is a neat and fun concept and I find myself listening to some of the franchise's tracks on rare occasions. that said one of the only two things that I'm disappointed with is how few tracks we got. the ones we got were fine but we really could have used more. not gonna lie I kinda got a sour taste in my mouth when I didn't see Rage Awakened or Fate of the Unknown on the track list. everything else is okay I guess, his stage looks cool, his gameplay style is neat, and the Timeless alt slaps harder than it should, so yeah I guess Smash ended off on an alright note.

that said the second thing I'm disappointed with is that we didn't get Donald Duck instead, I wanted to kill my opponents with Zettaflare we were robbed
