cant believe i paid 10 bucks for this

idk why all of Mario's app games are so blatantly trying to steal your money, but at least Mario Kart World Star is a bad game to boot so I can ignore it. This is a decently fun game, but not worth what Nintendo charges for it.

I owned this for this for five years and only just finished it

Another one of Nintendo's unfortunate mobile games. I genuinely don't know how much content there was in the game because last I checked, you had to pay real money to get the rest of a Free game. Disappointment.

Nintendo sucks at mobile games wtf.

if nothing else, this game was a fun distraction. Shame it costs like 10 bucks wtf nintendo

On dira ce qu'on voudra, cest super bien adapté pour les mobiles

I remember this being not bad considering it was a phone game. Not something I'd absolutely recommend in a heartbeat, though.

Ta divertido hasta que rescatas a peach y pues se vuelve monótono, eso no quita lo divertido

Shameless cash grab and not a good game.

It’s a great game on its own right. It’s simple, fun to play, and all that stuff. However, the expensive price tag and lack of online features lowers my grade for this game. Also, considering the gameplay is extremely short, don’t be expecting to play this for days on ends.

Overall, it has great potential to be a great game, Nintendo just doesn’t care and doesn’t bother. 6/10, 3/5

Only played the first few levels because you have to pay for most of them, maybe the level design gets better. A mobile mario game could have been cool but it was just used a cash grab.

Mildy entertaining mobile game.

The levels can be quite typical stuff but if you try collecting all the special coins then the one-handed gameplay becomes quite challenging. There are 3 sets of 5 different coloured coins in each level and adds replayability, it may even alter the level in small ways to make coins hard to reach. But it's still basically playing the same level 3 times.
The Remix mode is fun. It can be difficult to get some of the star coins since once you've chosen one way to go you find out the coin is on another platform. Perhaps that's just my skill issue. Also.. the music. It sounded like a pretty nice remix of different Mario themes but where tf did those vocals come from lol. It really could've done without them. "Show me your love" ??? But hey, they give you the option to play your own music while playing which is pretty cool.
Toad Rally is eh.

I think most people, myself included, forget that this exists. Even more, we forget that this is a REAL Mario game, with real level design and real input from Miyamoto. Also, for all the review bombing over “microtransactions”, you can buy this whole game for $5 and get everything they’ve added since 2016. I was finally reminded of it’s existence when hearing how involved Miyamoto was with the project, and I think we all need to accept that this is a canon mainline Mario game.

literally the whole game is held back by transactions

This is an in-progress review. But yeah I think this is a great take on Mario as a $10 app, sorta like a stylised auto-runner with a strong emphasis on replaying levels to collect coins and building upon the Mushroom Kingdom. It reminds me a little of Donkey Kong Jungle Beat in the manner of score attack mode and “style points” for those competitive toad audience stages.

I just cleared the stages and already I’m back for pink coins, relays as well as opening up the Star World stages! Whelp I think I’m being drawn in, at least I’ve already bought in.
