Really solid VS clone. Lots of fun to play through, Grab it on sale if you're looking for a good time. Also full of cute girls!!

Gosto de vampire survivors like mas esse deixa bastante a desejar, o padrão de cores (50 tons de cinza e vermelho em algumas poucas coisas) também não ajuda num jogo em que mobilidade e não esbarrar em nada é fundamental.

I recently started playing this game and it's fantastic. After returning home from work, I have dinner, play a 20-minute round, and then wrap up my day. If you enjoy games that can be played in 20-30 minute sessions, this might be the one for you. You may lose the first few rounds as you experiment with different builds, but once you grasp the synergy between a character, their weapon, and the power-ups, you're going to thoroughly enjoy it.

A good evolution of the Vampire Survivors idea, with a greater emphasis on choosing a loadout and building up skills and builds. I eneded up using Lilith with the bat gun for a significant portion of my way up to the final difficulty level. The game overall is fun, a great podcast/music listening game, but the road to "completing" it is a little repetitive and I wish more elements of each run would change to keep players on their toes. Had fun though and is worth it for fans of the idea.

Played a bit, it's whatever

Vampire survivors type beat

i mean its just vampire survivors. It's derivative but with a very interesting artstyle. This is not a game you sit down and play on your day off, this is the game you play at work when you have nothing to do and a pc that can't run anything else.

20 Minutes Till Dawn (or 20MTD) offers a surprising amount of depth with every run from beginning to end, and accomplishes to supply a full rogue-lite experience in a very short timeframe. Though a difficult game, there is enough balance (or lack thereof) to make you, the player, able to progress through each run without feeling like you've been beaten senseless by the developers.

Everything but the dirt you tread will try to kill you- trees included! The difficulty of this game isn't to be understated, whether the factors that make up the difficulty are intentional or not. An unintentional hurdle that you have to jump over is the visibility of the the character(s) you play as, and the enemies that you face. The color palette the game uses emphasizes a very specific aesthetic that's seldom seen in other media, but it can harm the player by disrupting the gameplay flow as the timer gets closer to completing a run. Enemies can and will overpopulate the screen, which while it may seem like an arbitrary nitpick considering the genre of the game, it can confuse a player as to where they can and cannot move simply due to the different entities blending in with one another as well as the background. There have been a lot of moments during my game sessions where my run will suddenly end, and the only thing I can think of is "What even killed me?" Fortunately, the developers have circumvented the visibility issue by adding a toggle in the settings that enable outlines for you, and the enemies. I highly recommend enabling this option!

The depth of the game comes from the ability to pick a character along with a weapon, which is a huge feat over other games in the genre like HoloCure or Vampire Survivors. This allows players to craft and experiment with different builds that are vastly different from one another, and increase the games longevity tenfold simply due to the fact. Personally, a build I've been having a lot of fun with is using the character Spark with a shotgun, and upgrades that revolve around effects applied to my character/summons upon reloading such as Holy Arts, Fresh Clip, or every upgrade under the Electromancy skill tree.

20MTD offers an engaging rogue-lite to players who are simply looking to accomplish a lot in little time, or those seeking a challenge that rewards those for their competency. I'm surprised that the game is as cheap as it is, which is currently selling at $5.00 USD at like Steam or the Epic Games store. Play it if you haven't yet.

interested by the artstyle & title (as well as it being free last holiday). After literally 20 minutes of experimenting, I felt as though my time would've been better spend diving into the mechanics of something else. while this certainly doesn't mean that i wasn't invested in the progressively more difficult gameplay and bullet-hell gameplay, it does mean I didn't feel the inclination to explore new weapons, skills, or classes.

Also, controls wise, it felt as though my inputs were being received inconsistently, with choosing upgrades per level up & re-loading feeling clunky at times. couldn've easily just been something strange on my end, but after checking my settings several times trying to tweak it to be just right, I gave up.

This is a fun little twin stick shooter (dual-joystick shooter according to Grouvee's categories haha) arena survival game. I think it plays most like Crimsonland due to the perks and ability to aim, but it's definitely a part of the Vampire Survivor inspired wave of games that's been coming out recently. It has tighter gameplay than most of it's kin, but the build variety is a bit limited at the moment. I like the minimalist color choice aesthetically, but it can get really hard to parse the screen with certain builds. There is meta progression, but you don't need it to beat the initial difficulty levels.

Overall, worth the 3 bucks. I've had a good amount of fun to this point and look forward to more diversity being added as early access continues.

Edit: The graphical clarity complaints have been substantially improved. Bumped from 3 to 3.5 stars.

I survived 20 Minutes in all 3 maps. I must say, this game is really addictive! The initial idea of the game is really simple yet fun.

Gameplay
The gameplay is just a straight up Manic shooter with a build system where you select different characters with different passive abilities and select different weapons with different stats and not just that, you will also level up your runes and even build your own runes set. You will survive 20 Minutes depending on the build that you create and what skills you will take whenever you level up, and how you play the game. The gun play and the leveling system is really good and the more I play the more addictive it gets, I also like the boss battles, fighting them along with the hordes of lovecraftian monsters are really difficult but if you play your cards right, it will go well. An enjoyable and addictive gameplay.

Art and Story
The art style is aesthetically pleasing especially the character designs. What I really don't like is the colors but its the atmosphere of the game so I guess the art direction for the color is bland, yet the style and the pixel art is quite good nonetheless. Moreover, there is no actual story for the game, I guess there are bits of lore within the characters designs or even the weapon but a full blown story is nowhere to be found but its fine, since the art is really good, the art and the character designs make up for it and they can tell the lore with just their designs.

Overall
You just have to survive 20 minutes from lovecraft monsters. This game is really quite enjoyable and addictive, I had fun whenever I reach level 30 and the hordes of lovecraftian monsters are just swarming all over you and yet your character just kills them all. 20 Minutes Till Dawn is a enjoyable indie game.

Quick, simple VS clone. Had some trouble till unlocking a quite broken character then coasted the rest of the game. Unlocked all stages and characters, enough for me to feel like ive beaten it.

On a base level the game is really good, it has an amazing style at first glance and it handles its basic mechanics really well. Once given a deeper look after playing some hours you can notice many flaws, first-off once you learn how to play decently it becomes way too easy for like 3/4 of the game until you unlock the higher difficulties; speaking about unlock this game could really use some as sooner than later most of your builds end up feeling mostly the same.

It's a really enjoyable game, don't get me wrong, but sadly it quickly gets stale after not so many hours.

A good Vampire Survivors-like experience (Survivor genre?) but in this one you actually do actively aim and fire your weapon. I find that this way is more engaging and I enjoyed 20 Minutes but it is let down my its monochromatic color scheme. While it looks cool, it not only gets boring after a while but also makes it difficult to differentiate between enemies and friendly projectiles/summons.

Received free from Epic

"She 20 on minutes till I dawn"
Pretty engaging initially but becomes repetitive getting to darkness 15. At D15, some characters are really hard to finish with, and a lot of the successful builds end up with just standing in one place and winning.

Tried to get into it but unfortunately I don’t think it has anything for me. Very well made game with good reason to exist, but i found the experience to be a mix of playing the game half asleep barely paying attention, and occasionally trying to focus and get a run going but 20 minutes in this game feels like an hour everywhere else. The slow pace and difficulty curve that is frankly fucking absurd was what turned me off from the game in the end. Horny hp lovecraft fans can have it all they want tho respectfully

Tiene una buena base, pero el estilo grafico es horrible para esquivar cosas, la mejoras de las armas son un meh como una catedral y en general, no acaba de invitar a seguir haciendo runs uno tras otro como este "genero" tiene que conseguir.

a part of vampire survivors roguelite virus that i honestly aint a fan of

Entertaining game loop, fun builds and a pretty aesthetic as far as endless wave roguelites go. You do run out of content fast though

this game gets fun but it gets boring after a while

Très bon jeu mais il manque un peu de contenu

Picked this up because the art is cool. Its a fun enough one of these. Hasnt really kept my attention though.
