(sonic's ultimate genesis collection 6/40)

doesn't suffer the arcade -> console jump as hard as super thunder blade, although it is again noticeably weaker and kind of amusing. the main difference here is that is actually remains playable at the end of the day. 1 player it kind of sucks dick though and its really short anyway

classic fun. both the arcade and genesis are different but good

Favorite game growing up, my uncle had an arcade cabinet of it and me and my cousins would play it for hours on end.

i'm not immune to the nostalgia, but this is mediocrity defined.

Eu não sei o que é este jogo, só sei que ele é divertido.

It's an iconic Sega classic, but that certainly doesn't mean it's good or hasn't aged like milk

Gave it a second try and came out a lot more positive. I think it's one of the few 16-bit games that got better with time; now that's super inexpensive and accessible, it's a lot easier to admire its b-movie energy and overly-charismatic charm.

Cannot imagine spending 60 bucks on this in 1989 tho, it's 10 goddamn minutes long and has almost no depth to its gameplay.

Bland, boring, and outdated. Don't know what else to say. Music is nice though.

While yes, this game is a SEGA staple, it's just not very good by today's standards.

Very bad game with a very good Game Over theme
