i was tryna fuck on the wife so bad when i was younger

Thinking about how obsessed I was with this game as a child like I would consume content about it endlessly, whether it be about easter eggs or mods or whatever because I was just fascinated by this dumbass game.

MELON

It is crazy to me that to this day, there have hardly been any games that have attempted to replicate or work upon what was created here, because this is a really special game and it still holds up to this day. It is very janky and looks weird but mechanically it actually does its job very well, and the amount of different dialouge that you can hear and different ways the story can end is really impressive for the time. It is just so charming and so endearing that I look past the odd ball moments, like how Tripp feels about melons haha.

I think this is well worth experiencing at least once.

G3T 000UTTTTT RIGHTTT NEOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His name Trip but he stay trippin'

when you think about video game staples, these "must-play" games that you have to experience at least once in order to prove to people that you are capable of higher thought, of experiencing and understanding deep narratives and of formulating and expressing opinions and observations that stem from a place of culture and experience, you usually think of games like final fantasy 7, half life, chrono trigger, metal gear solid, halo, super mario 64, portal, and others of a similar caliber

if you haven't booted up this game and typed "melon" at least once, you have truly missed out on one of the most formative and influential cultural experiences of the 2000s and i IMPLORE you to try it out at least once

When Trip answered the door I asked if he had heard the word of god and then he immediately closed the door and the game ended.

Fun game!

It's actually kinda funny to play this and see the weird things you can do.

A fun little experiment from before the world deserved to burn machine learning algorithms to hell.

alright you know what? GONZALO. i think this evening is over. youve got to leave.

The game seems really impressive at first, until you realize it's following a very rigid structure that you have only a small degree of control over, and that Trip and Grace have a very limited pool of things they understand. The concept also doesn't really hold up for long. The game expects you to replay it over and over to figure out how to 'win,' but to be blunt Trip and Grace's incessant bitching is insufferable to listen to over-and-over again, and besides that how to 'win' the game is unintuitive enough to the point where I lost interest before I could even get to that point.

Cool tech demo, mediocre game.

what has my life come to? what happened to hitman 3 and cold steel 2?

i dont know what came over me to play this but i decided to for some reason. i felt like i was gonna get murdered, the entire thing is a spooky yet funny trainwreck. the controls are awful, the visuals are janky, somehow i ended up kissing the girl and hugging the guy like 30 times before they kicked me out. theres not much else to say. certainly "an experience"

For personal reference more than anything else.

Played this a couple of times today after playing it countless times over the years.

It has its problems, it looks kind of bad, the AI can break quite easily, you can hear voice lines that are clearly recorded to be quite far away when you are right next to the character saying them, the characters don't really respond to what you say properly some times and the amount you can type in a line is a bit short. But I don't really mind much of this, it may be me being kind of easy to impress but this game is genuinely one of the coolest ones I've played, especially considering how old it is and what its trying to do. I love the concept and I wish that there were more things like it as I'm sure that with how advanced technology has gotten that something like this releasing nowadays would feel so much more natural and have far more depth to it. I've seen things like Cleverbot and Evie but they freak me out a bit and I just kind of prefer something that feels more scripted and more videogamey (as dumb as that may sound) like this.

This time around I got the 'Trip leaves' ending and the 'they stay together but it seems like things could get better ending'. The plot is nice and basic and there's enough things that can happen that sort of makes each playthrough feel at least a little different (except for the Italy picture, I swear that comes up every time if you don't get kicked out early on). When it comes to the actual dispute between Trip and Grace, maybe its just that I keep ending up with runs that paints Trip in a worse light but I feel like this game should be a lot more even when it comes to how each character is being shitty to the other. Maybe its just my personal bias and that I know people with similar traits to Trip but I just think he's a lot more unlikeable then Grace is and it makes me think that the two really shouldn't be together. As characters they're kind of interesting and its entertaining to interact with them (or let them fight between themselves).

At the end of the day, this is a game I've always really liked and love to come back to every couple of months or so and given how experimental it feels it seems wrong to be hard on it even with its issues. Such a cool game.

I love booting up this game and listening to them argue <3

An amusing, but ultimately uninteresting game. It's fun to insult or even say controversial things and see their reaction.

The way these guys react to compliments as if you just offered them a million dollars speaks volumes about how toxic their relationship must be. Also I don't think I'll ever be able to get over the fact that Grace's torso is made of two stretched ovals.

sometimes you just. come back to that one art game.

John, see I've actually been paying close attention to what you've been saying.

You're saying... I should jam this wine glass into my orifices?

But for real, was that a Dragon Dildo Trip had on the shelf?? (I mean, it's gotta be his right?? Grace is not based enough to have gotten it for herself)
