Jogo bem tranquilo e divertido, bem característico com a gameplay de games "aventura" da época, achei bacana

Watching Fry's dog slowly die was more fun than this.

AS FASES DA LILA SÃO INSUPORTÁVEIS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA mas tirando isso e os bugs clássicos de um jogo 3D meio preguiço, é bem divertido e carismático.

I blame this game for Futurama being cancelled, why else would it be. The Story is that Mr. Farnsworth sold his company to Mom, who now owns the majority of the planet, and the gang have to get away from Mom and find a way to stop her from ruling the world, the idea of the game is interesting, and is something that I could be behind for a Futurama videogame, the downside is everything else, in the story, the Tractor beam takes too long to bring the ship down to the planet, how did Leela carry the machine herself, you don't see her bring the machine back, yet it's onboard again, and the whole ending shouldn't of happened, because during the last level, the gang should have died so they would end up back where the machine and the others are and stop the selling of the business to Mom, and also if this is the timeloop they are going for, why didn't Farnsworth say anything to the gang to help them avoid failure? The Characters are the same as the show, and that's a good thing, but the jokes although good enough in the cutscenes, are subpar in gameplay. The Graphics are ugly, have the same feel as a extremely cheaply made tie in game has, and the color scheme during gameplay isn't as colorful as the cutscenes and the show. The Gameplay has you collect items, and fighting enemies with your weapons to continue the story, but because it's the same thing over and over again, the game is very repetitive, I did like the whole coming back to life with a machine though, brings reason to why games characters come back. The Music is alright for a Futurama feel, but nothing to wanna listen to on it's own. Futurama the game has more to like than most tie in games, but not by much.

Cool to play with the futurama characters and decent levels, but is held back by poorly done gameplay. Sometime as there are platform sections that require precision, the gameplay issues make it frustrating. Then a harsh lives system punishes you for it by making you restart the level.

Bender dice el chuloputas móvil de ahí la media estrella mas

when I was in middle school and I had a youtube channel with my best friend I had a video lets play of This with over 10k views which would be insane if I could get views like that today so good memories also hilarious cause the game was running at like half speed on the emulator with hella sound glitches ( no how I ended playing the whole game thank god)
unfortunately, the channel was run by my friend and most of our videos have been deleted by him ._.

Place Of Abandonment: Late 2020/Early 2021, around the end of Bender's section, which is about halfway through the game

I never watched the Simpsons growing up. I dunno how, but despite having played Hit & Run and The Simpsons Game, plus enjoying its movie, I never got the chance to watch it on Fox on the TV, or even stream it through legal or 'legal' manners. Just sort of whizzed by me, really. I have been making slow progress in watching the series, but it's gonna take a while before I finish up its Golden Era (I plan on getting up to S11).

Futurama, meanwhile, is the complete inverse. This was formulaic to most of my senses, teaching me that not only can the bases of science can be cool, but also my humor. From the long payoff to the quick wordplay, from the esoteric weirdness to the gallows, I dare say it's one of the funniest things in existence. Sure, not everything about it hits the mark - Bend Her is one of the most painfully unfunny and uncomfortably bad episodes I've ever seen - but for a show that was conceived in 1999, lived up to 2003, revived once again in 2008 and finishing up in 2013, it's a pretty strong track record compared to everything I've heard about the Simpsons. I'm not a super fan that can quote every line or detail an exact scene from a specific episode, but I'll gladly share my favorite moments, be it fan favorites or personal.

Anyway this game sucks lol

You play as Fry, Bender, and Leela for this endeavor, with Zoidberg being used for one instance, and I'll give credit that it's nice they were able to get not only the voice cast for them, Farnsworth, and even Mom & Sons, but also one of the writers of the show, J. Stewart Burns. As a result, the writing's easily the best part of the package, not only in terms of line delivery and setup but also from utilizing a few throwbacks here and there, such as the loading screens being based on the type of adverts you'd see from the show, Nibbler being one of the main collectibles, or being able to activate the Suicide Booth and losing a life in the process. Not near the top of the series' best efforts, and the presentation is very rough in obtaining a 3DCG approach, but there's enough gags and game-specific humor to at least get a good chuckle here and there, especially with how the story is structured as this sort of time loop fiasco. It's the everything else that drags it down, unfortunately.

The controls are bizarre, definitely a "need to play it to feel it" instance. The jump is springy yet also stiff to position, the three trio turn kinda awkwardly, there's little sense of feedback when you get hit meaning you can get cut down without warning on occasion, and the camera is.. actually somewhat competent surprisingly, but it still has a habit of getting stuck on things or not visually letting you see what's ahead. While the core package is a 3D platformer, each of the characters have a distinct playstyle to set their levels apart: Fry has the action-adventure approach, utilizing guns to deal damage which doesn't mean much since a majority of them deal big enough hits to whittle down all of his foes; Bender is mainly centered on the platforming, even having a boulder chase sequence, but there's never a sense of progression, you sort of do things just because; I never got to Leela or Zoidberg's sections, but I've at least dug up what they do, and the former's combat focused while the latter's a vehicle minigame of getting to the end on time.

Honestly, even if you iron out the jank and controls, it wouldn't help much cause this game is ungodly boring. Despite the immense potential a game within the Futurama setting would have, it strangely doesn't capitalize on them, just strictly adhering to the base loop and some tinges of the show's style for the whole way through. It also doesn't help most of the minigames I played were either woefully long and boring, or haphazardly short and unpolished. I've heard this game is rather hard, and while most of it is again cause of how unpolished and rough the collision and strict jumps are, the core battles against enemies and jumping sequences - from what I've played, anyway - never really drove me up a wall, instead I just felt like I was wasting time on something that I clearly didn't like doing, and should've used it on something else instead. It's a supremely basic and barebones approach, and the amount of times I felt something was escalating can be counted on one hand.

Nowadays, I try to finish whatever I set out to do, even if I'm not at all liking it, since I want to see if there's anything to at least say and give out a finalized, earnest thought when it comes to discussions. However, this game is one of very few times I'm comfortable in leaving abandoned, for two reasons. Firstly, I've seen what the later levels are like, and little to none of them have any sort of appeal and opted to double down on the weakest aspects of the package, so I don't see any point in bothering. Secondly, remember when I said the writing was the best part? Well, so did the crew, because the cutscenes were edited and repackaged as a "special cinematic" for the home release of Beast With A Billion Backs, as Futurama: The Lost Adventure. Technically speaking, this makes it one of the few times the "just watch the cutscenes instead" mantra is actually a truth, you can just watch that, or preferably an ACTUAL cutscene compilation of the game to retain some of the more platform-specific jokes, and have a guilt-free experience!

Bad as hell but the first level is everything you could want from a futurama game

I didnt't dislike this game. Even though it's a jank-fest. Best Futurama game ever!

I don't remember anything about this game other than the fact that I owned it at one point for some reason and it was one of the worst games I had ever played.

As a kid it was a lot of fun because i adored futurama but its pretty shit hey boys

The sharpest quality nosedive since Tumblr got rid of porn WHAT HAPPENED

Level 1, FIRE. Explore an incredible rendition of the Planet Express building, with every inch turning character quirks and in-jokes into some hilarious platforming sequence. Scruffy's too busy looking at pictures of titties to tend to his janitorial work, so platform over rusty crates through a flooded basement. Farnsworth hasn't had an inspector check the premises for leaks and damage since before Fry was frozen, so jump around bursting vents and pipes. Bender's taking a shit. It has nothing to do with anything he's just there pissing and shitting. This is GOLD, there's nothing that could stop this incredible experience, NOTHING that could derail the epic momentum this first level BAM SEWERS.

There's an enemy running straight towards you, SO HOW ABOUT THE AIMING LOCK-ON JUST SPINS YOU 180 DEGRESS TO TARGET A RANDOM CRATE YOU PASSED FIVE MINUTES AGO. If you overcome the odds and target an actual enemy, YOU MAY AS WELL HAVE JUST TARGETED THE CRATE I'VE SHOT HIM 50 TIMES WHY'S HE STILL GNAWING MY ARM. Numerous platforming challenges over insta-death pools of insta-death, DO IT ALL WITH THE HEAVIEST JUMP GRAVITY ALLOWS WITH CONTROLS THAT ARE SOMEHOW ALSO SUPER LOOSE AND IMPRECISE, SO YOU JUMP HALF A CENTIMETER BUT THEN TURN MID-AIR FASTER THAN THE AIMING LOCK-ON WHEN YOU TRY TO TARGET AN ENEMY RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU.

ALL WITH CHECKPOINTS SO FAR BACK NOT EVEN THE TARGETING SYSTEM CAN LOCK-ON TO THEM, SO YOU'LL REPLAY THESE SEGMENTS MORE TIMES THAN YOU'LL PRESS THE TARGET BUTTON TRYING TO LOCK-ON TO AN ENEMY WHY'S THE TARGETING SYSTEM SO SHIT FOR FUCK'S SAKE

There's an official cutscene compilation I'd recommend watching instead, but it's only available as an extra on the DVD of the second worst Futurama movie, so yeah just don't experience this game in any form

"We'll hunt them down like the common kitten."

This game is not very good, what little upsides it has are seriously overshadowed by the terrible gameplay. Enemies feel cheap, platforming is a joke and the funny story parts are way too few and far in between to make this even worth someone's time.

I'm sure even the developers hated making this

i'm serious this is the worst game I ever played

Oh man I want to love this more, I really do. The writing is great, the aesthetic translated over fairly well, it is pretty similar to Hit & Run in a lot of ways though I also got shades of the Ed Edd & Eddy tie-in for a lot of art direction choices made here (particularly a fan of the OST that is like remixes of show music with like breakdowns from lines of the show). The problem is it's just kind of jank, enough so that it hinders it being fun. It might partially be the emulator, but it moves pretty slow and and some points seems frustrating in weird difficulty curves. I know the brand has kind of been ruined now but I would have loved another attempt at this, I'd happily try a reworked fan game.

Is it worth it for the episode? No.

A decent script and fun easter eggs are bogged down by bad controls that actively work against your enjoyment of the game. Repetitive, unimaginative, and bored with itself, this feels like someone tossed it to the cheapest developers available just to write it off for taxes.

As someone who champions Futurama as “better than The Simpsons” this is the most disappointing I’ve felt in a good while. Now did I expect this game to be great, no; this was a game released less then a month after the show’s first cancellation and as a game itself it feels like a rushed job with the writers not really understanding what writing a video game is like. The cutscenes are really funny and are the highlight of the game but after their done you get to play one of the strangest 3D platformers I’ve ever played, this game is really hard for me to talk about all I can really say is it’s one of those play it for yourself type shitty games; where the controls are both slippery and stiff, and the jumping is both heavy and floaty while also being generally unresponsive. It also doesn't help that every character besides Bender look ugly as sin, I know when it comes to recreating 2D characters into 3D is an art in of itself but MAN these 3D models look really bad.

If you for some reason actually wanna play this game just watch the cutscenes online, it’ll be a more fun experience then playing through this. (at least the Zoidberg Crash Hog riding rip-off level was decent)

(UPDATE: So I just found out that all of the game’s cutscenes were released as a lost episode on the DVD for the movie Beast with a Billion Backs, so now you have even more reason to not play this game; wonderful great I wasted my time then. No I'm not mad; why would I be mad. I play shit like this all the time why would I be mad that I wasted perfectly time I have left on this earth playing shitty games, who do you think I am Doug FUCKING Walker???!!??!)

At times dated controls, but got damn its fun.

I spent the last few weeks binge watching Futurama and I wanted more. I'd watched every episode, movie, that Simpsons crossover episode and I'd even read a couple of comic books.

I'd wanted this game for a while but I wasn't exactly rushing out to pick it up as I'd already got the gist of it through that Lost Adventure feature on one of the DVDs, plus the game is way too expensive for reasons that have escaped me having now played the game (I paid £9.99 - it's worth around £15)

I went into this game expecting at the very most a quick 3 hour platformer / shooter game, but it actually took me just over 9 hours to complete just the story.

This game is a buggy, laggy mess that lacks polish. Some levels, especially at the tail end of the game, lag out my PS2. I'm playing this on original hardware.
Sometimes the jump button doesn't register, making you fall to your death, or worse, make you have to redo the entire parkour from the beginning.

This game felt nigh impossible without me using the +5 lives and full health cheats.
I won't be going back to this to get all the collectables as they don't really feel worth the effort.

This game is so flawed it made me register for this site to tell you how I felt about it.
This game can bite my shiny metal ass.

The epitome of the mid 2000s generation 5 licensed game. It's biggest sin is being aggressively janky in every way due to a lack of polish. As a giant fan of Futurama and a glutton for 3D platformers I didn't hate my time with it!

this is so fucking clunky and bad. there is no effective way to prevent death, you have to lock on and hope for the best. the platforming is headache inducing. the devs clearly know next to nothing about the series besides what was a story and character lines probably given by lead writers. a game you can only enjoy drunk with friends
