An absolutely dreadful action-platformer that isn't even suitable for super-fans of the show, failing at representing the source material in any way worth playing.

Irritatingly, things start quite well as we come out of the first cutscene, in which Professor Farnsworth sells Planet Express to evil tycoon Mom giving her majority control over the Earth, and drop into a wonderfully recreated version of the Planet Express building. However, things go swiftly downhill (indeed, down-sewers) after that as we follow Fry, Bender, and Leela through a series of bland, ambling levels over the course of a woefully toothless plot.

The gameplay is a fairly tepid mix of basic platforming and generic action. Fry can wield guns so his levels have you wrestle with terrible lock-on and enemies that can hit you from a mile away, while Bender and Leela need to make do with artless melee combat. All three have to deal with hideously dull level design and dealing with an uncooperative camera.

Originally conceived as a potential end for the show, you can now experience the story of this game as an extra on DVDs (and I assume Disney+). Do that instead if you must.

The sharpest quality nosedive since Tumblr got rid of porn WHAT HAPPENED

Level 1, FIRE. Explore an incredible rendition of the Planet Express building, with every inch turning character quirks and in-jokes into some hilarious platforming sequence. Scruffy's too busy looking at pictures of titties to tend to his janitorial work, so platform over rusty crates through a flooded basement. Farnsworth hasn't had an inspector check the premises for leaks and damage since before Fry was frozen, so jump around bursting vents and pipes. Bender's taking a shit. It has nothing to do with anything he's just there pissing and shitting. This is GOLD, there's nothing that could stop this incredible experience, NOTHING that could derail the epic momentum this first level BAM SEWERS.

There's an enemy running straight towards you, SO HOW ABOUT THE AIMING LOCK-ON JUST SPINS YOU 180 DEGRESS TO TARGET A RANDOM CRATE YOU PASSED FIVE MINUTES AGO. If you overcome the odds and target an actual enemy, YOU MAY AS WELL HAVE JUST TARGETED THE CRATE I'VE SHOT HIM 50 TIMES WHY'S HE STILL GNAWING MY ARM. Numerous platforming challenges over insta-death pools of insta-death, DO IT ALL WITH THE HEAVIEST JUMP GRAVITY ALLOWS WITH CONTROLS THAT ARE SOMEHOW ALSO SUPER LOOSE AND IMPRECISE, SO YOU JUMP HALF A CENTIMETER BUT THEN TURN MID-AIR FASTER THAN THE AIMING LOCK-ON WHEN YOU TRY TO TARGET AN ENEMY RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU.

ALL WITH CHECKPOINTS SO FAR BACK NOT EVEN THE TARGETING SYSTEM CAN LOCK-ON TO THEM, SO YOU'LL REPLAY THESE SEGMENTS MORE TIMES THAN YOU'LL PRESS THE TARGET BUTTON TRYING TO LOCK-ON TO AN ENEMY WHY'S THE TARGETING SYSTEM SO SHIT FOR FUCK'S SAKE

There's an official cutscene compilation I'd recommend watching instead, but it's only available as an extra on the DVD of the second worst Futurama movie, so yeah just don't experience this game in any form

"We'll hunt them down like the common kitten."

This game is not very good, what little upsides it has are seriously overshadowed by the terrible gameplay. Enemies feel cheap, platforming is a joke and the funny story parts are way too few and far in between to make this even worth someone's time.

I'm sure even the developers hated making this

i'm serious this is the worst game I ever played

Oh man I want to love this more, I really do. The writing is great, the aesthetic translated over fairly well, it is pretty similar to Hit & Run in a lot of ways though I also got shades of the Ed Edd & Eddy tie-in for a lot of art direction choices made here (particularly a fan of the OST that is like remixes of show music with like breakdowns from lines of the show). The problem is it's just kind of jank, enough so that it hinders it being fun. It might partially be the emulator, but it moves pretty slow and and some points seems frustrating in weird difficulty curves. I know the brand has kind of been ruined now but I would have loved another attempt at this, I'd happily try a reworked fan game.

Is it worth it for the episode? No.

A decent script and fun easter eggs are bogged down by bad controls that actively work against your enjoyment of the game. Repetitive, unimaginative, and bored with itself, this feels like someone tossed it to the cheapest developers available just to write it off for taxes.

Jogo bem tranquilo e divertido, bem característico com a gameplay de games "aventura" da época, achei bacana

Watching Fry's dog slowly die was more fun than this.

AS FASES DA LILA SÃO INSUPORTÁVEIS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA mas tirando isso e os bugs clássicos de um jogo 3D meio preguiço, é bem divertido e carismático.

I blame this game for Futurama being cancelled, why else would it be. The Story is that Mr. Farnsworth sold his company to Mom, who now owns the majority of the planet, and the gang have to get away from Mom and find a way to stop her from ruling the world, the idea of the game is interesting, and is something that I could be behind for a Futurama videogame, the downside is everything else, in the story, the Tractor beam takes too long to bring the ship down to the planet, how did Leela carry the machine herself, you don't see her bring the machine back, yet it's onboard again, and the whole ending shouldn't of happened, because during the last level, the gang should have died so they would end up back where the machine and the others are and stop the selling of the business to Mom, and also if this is the timeloop they are going for, why didn't Farnsworth say anything to the gang to help them avoid failure? The Characters are the same as the show, and that's a good thing, but the jokes although good enough in the cutscenes, are subpar in gameplay. The Graphics are ugly, have the same feel as a extremely cheaply made tie in game has, and the color scheme during gameplay isn't as colorful as the cutscenes and the show. The Gameplay has you collect items, and fighting enemies with your weapons to continue the story, but because it's the same thing over and over again, the game is very repetitive, I did like the whole coming back to life with a machine though, brings reason to why games characters come back. The Music is alright for a Futurama feel, but nothing to wanna listen to on it's own. Futurama the game has more to like than most tie in games, but not by much.

Cool to play with the futurama characters and decent levels, but is held back by poorly done gameplay. Sometime as there are platform sections that require precision, the gameplay issues make it frustrating. Then a harsh lives system punishes you for it by making you restart the level.

Bender dice el chuloputas móvil de ahí la media estrella mas

when I was in middle school and I had a youtube channel with my best friend I had a video lets play of This with over 10k views which would be insane if I could get views like that today so good memories also hilarious cause the game was running at like half speed on the emulator with hella sound glitches ( no how I ended playing the whole game thank god)
unfortunately, the channel was run by my friend and most of our videos have been deleted by him ._.
