For what Mario Run is, its alright. A mario title made for mobile sounds good but really it gets old pretty quick. Level are average New Super Mario Bros level with barely anything added but alot removed, you can finish one in like 30 seconds. The entire game is like done in 30 minutes for free users and maybe 3 hours who payed the, for premium games on mobile pricey, full version which only adds a little more content. Really gets bland after a while. The Remix levels also are a nice addition but really dont add much to the levels and get bland themself really fast too. The controlls are nice, i hope more mobile games adapt to be controlled with one hand in landscape, its just way more casual. Wouldnt recommend, just play any New Super mario bros title and you get a slightly better experience.
I played through this again for some Super Mario Wonder hype, initially I just wanted to unlock Daisy on my old account, but I got a new phone since I last played and wasn't able to log into said account, so I had to restart from the beginning.
Still a decent game, but I definitely wouldn't have the energy to collect every coin again, especially with how close we are to the release of Mario Wonder now.
It's an okay mobile game, but unfortunately costs ya 10 bucks.

A mobile game that would benefit from being literally anything but a mobile game, it’s fun…..until you gotta fucking pay to unlock the rest of the game, and that’s bullshit. It’s an enjoyable experience for what it is, way better than most of the mobile gaming trash heap, but it still has glaring flaws.
I forgot to log this but I might as well do so to finish my Mario ranking so anyways:
How the hell does this game have a larger cast than most of the other Mario games? I'm so glad they implemented it into Mario Wonder (even if a portion of it is locked on easy mode).
I would have also probably given it a point higher if it didn't cost 10 bucks; it's actually a pretty creative concept for a 2d Mario Game given that you can literally build your own kingdom, but $10 is outrageous for a phone game.

It's alright. It's nothing special and is basically just New Super Mario Bros for your phone. The bosses are pretty annoying with the always running mechanic, but the final boss actually uses that to It's advantage. Toad Rally is an alright mode, but the best mode in the game is Remix 10, which just haves you running through small sections of levels collecting rainbow coins which would give you rewards if you collect enough, these rewards are things you can place around the Mushroom Kingdom in the Kingdom Builder mode, which is not as cool as it sounds. It's ok, it's not really worth the $10 entry fee, but it's a fine game. You are better off playing any other 2D Mario though tbh
