far better than I had expected. the story isn't amazing or anything but it has a lot of heart for this kind of game. the voxel destruction physics are lots of fun and slicing robots in half never got old. the campaign is particularly fun because it's constantly introducing new elements to keep the already-fun combat system varied and interesting, always keeping you on your toes and giving you new obstacles to overcome. it's just a plain ol' good game.

that said, the amount of abilities you get the more levels you beat is a bit lacking, a lot of the times you'll only ever really end up using the sword and some armor upgrades, and you'll do just fine. maybe this could be expanded on in a sequel or something, I dunno.

the developer wasn't lying
the clone drone can in the danger zone

CONGRATULATIONS, HUMAN!
YOU ARE ABOUT TO BECOME A SWORD ROBOT.

Csak a demóval játszottam :_-(

The combat in this game is unmatched. Loads of fun. My little cousin recommended this game and he was RIGHT about it. Artstyle is shit though. I hate it when games look like this. Anyways, play this game

Played this game at a young age. I don't remember much, other than the announcers and the fun sword gameplay.

I like it when robots shittalk me with TTS

I picked this up in the Humble Overwhelmingly Positive Gems Bundle but I can't tell if this game is bad on purpose or just bad.

The performance is good but the camera movement seems locked at 60 fps or something so it feels awful unless you cap it there. Also the camera is directly behind the player so it's unnecessarily difficult to gauge the range of your weapon. The controls should be better since the combat is so simple but for some reason I have to move left in order to swing my sword right. The game seems really low budget in general which is almost okay since it leans into it a bit. I'm just amazed at the reception of this game considering it costs £15, it felt more like a freeware game to me.

The combat is totally amateurish compared to something like Chivalry so it has no appeal to me but I suppose most people haven't played that game.

dude I love this game so much i wish there was just more of it, the humour and the just fun slashing makes me stay on this game for ages.

For being made by 1 dev this is an impressive effort.
pros
it actually has a good story even though it's voxel game, achievements are apart of the gameplay loop so you can spent around 30-60 hours unlocking them and get rewarded in game for doing so. It also has a workshop editor and maps you can download to expand playtime.
Boss fight at the end was a blast to play.

cons
1. no turn caps makes it so acceling your mouse every swing is a legit strategy
2. 1 shot mechanic doesn't fit here, it would be better with 2 hit kill
3. ai is garbage and makes the game combat feel more luck based than skillful
4. online coop is a mixed bag
5. community is full of children that are really bad at the game
6. online pvp is play once and forget due to server issues and bad hit registration
7. swinging mechanic is outdated and blocking doesn't feel intuitive enough

Solo survival mode, workshop, and story are where this shines. It's ultimately let down by the abysmal ai and one shot mechanics.

i will always reopen this game for funsies to just knock out an achievement or two. maybe one day it will be completed. maybe...

CDITDZ was a game that had a very unfulfilling plot and as the game when on, felt that they just picked the most strange ideas out of a hat to use. the game was more about the levels than the story. Some powers were locked behind level challenges.

do not worry, this is not a roguelite, once you get past a very easy to deal with permadeath section, the true story chapters start.
this game is crazy fun and simple with its combat, the story is silly yet enjoyable, i had tons of fun with it, this is also a very polished experience, even in my old weak computer i used to run it at 100 fps, now with the new right it flies away, this is mechanics in its purest form, once you beat it there are the challenges and the multiplayer for you to enjoy, overall this is a great indie that im glad i managed to accompany its growth, i was there since beta when they were launching episode by episode, those who buy it today get the full package, but it was interestling waiting for the monthly episodes with each time the dev trying their hardest to top themselves

A really fun indie arena fighting game with a story that goes beyond the arena. It is very satisfying to cut apart your enemies with various weapons and to master the combat in general. I finished the story today on the highest difficulty and liked it for the most parts.

I love this game it’s fantastic fun and a great time killer Plus the story actually kind of cool

locura, pensaba que era un simple juego de estar peleando en una arena a pelear con naves espaciales

this game looks ugly as fuck but it plays fucking stellar. swordplay is weighty and intentional, upgrades allow you to take a completely different approach to combat, i find it very fresh and extremely replayable. extra points for fucking hilarious robot-writing

Lots of fun. Voxel robots with lasers. Actually attempts to have a story.

One of the best time wasting games out there. Combat is challenging, but incredibly satisfying at all times. Highly recommend picking up as a game to keep you busy while you do other things.

good game but i doubt ill get around to beating it

parece legal é legal mas nao tem muito conteudo legal

It was so fun and the history was really interesting I really wished they had finish it, but overall a pretty fun experience
