Best mega man 6. Adapaters are super fun. Level design is made around them. Only brought down by the mr.x stages.

Some cool robot master designs (tomahawk man and yamato man, specifically) but overall it falls into the same trap as 6, with lackluster level design and forgettable encounters. It's good if you love the series and want more, but not essential by any means

a bit better than 4 and 5 but still not really anything special comparitively

I cannot believe Dr. X is actually Dr. Wily.

Anyway, this one is my favorite. I really love the changes made and the Rush adapters are fucking cool. Tedious to switch between, but Rush Jet adapter is SO fun to use and this is the first entry where Mega Man's armor changes along with them so it feels significant and gives more incentive to change.

The game is comparably easier than virtually every entry before it, but the level design isn't as uninspired as 5 and there's more variety. This makes it almost comforting to play, which is a different but welcome Mega Man experience. The world tournament concept is neat and allows for some really memorable robot master designs as well. Weapons all feel fun competent (except for plant shield, but when are the shields ever worth using?). I really love some of the Wily OSTs in this one and find them stuck in my head frequently.

As a final entry in the original 6, it's a little lackluster, especially the final Wily being virtually the same as MM5's but easier and him just going to jail at the end lol. Overall as a stand alone title though, I love the concept, level designs, adapter additions, and fluid, comforting gameplay so much that this one is my favorite.

The best of the NES Mega Man games imo and maybe the best game on the console, period. Love the variety of fun locales and useful weapons, love the rush jet armor, love the music, just really great all around.

End of the NES games, but not the end of the classic series.

You can certainly feel the fatigue of it being the sixth game on the same console
The Rush adapters are cool but a lot of the level design feels somewhat uninspired
Still an alright Mega Man game tho

Mega Man 6 is a very lazy game, but it still manages to be decent enough to pass. It’s short and easy, but this works for MM6 as a double edge sword as if it was either just one or the other it’s likely that it wouldn’t be as “good” as it is now. Still though, we know Capcom can do better.

The jump delay after using a dash destroys the game for me.

one of the best in the series. (mostly) fantastic stage design, fun weapons, and the rush adaptors are downright brilliant

great game in the series. power ups are also cool and story is laughably silly

Definitely the best of the NES Mega Man games. All the stages have great theming based on different countries in the world with each country's robot master designs being stellar. All the weapons are good and have their uses. The new Rush abilities are great powerups to Mega Man's lineup. In fact, the entire game just feels super polished and definately feels more akin to more modern platformers with the forgiving level design. It's really clear that this game is culmination of the NES series of Mega Man games and a must play for those curious about the series.

by this point, Capcom knew how to do a Mega Man, that's for sure.

La historia es bien boluda incluso para estandares de la franquicia, pero eu los niveles son bastante llamativos y las rush armor hacen el juego muy fresco y re adictivo, el garron es que wow...es demaciado facil xd

Mega Man 6 is basically just Mega Man 5 but more original. So if you like that game then it wouldn't hurt to give this one a try and vice versa.

rush adaptors are jank and not the good jank

A very big comfort game for me, one I can just turn on and play through in an hour when I'm feeling bored or down

the rush adapters carry this game

Mega Man goes the way of G Gundam to mixed results

By far the best megaman on nes, everything is points, it`s challenging but not unfair or frustrating, the robots masters have cool designs for the most part, the powers are useful, but all the extra stuff and powers are what makes the game as good as it is, the rush adapters make this game way more fun than it has any right to be.

Great Entry. My Dog Chewed Up One Of My NES Controllers. Luckily, I Have 4 More

Mega Man vs. The Eight Evil Stereotypes

Not too much to say here at this point, The rush adapters and alternative paths in the levels made this a bit unique compared to the previous entries and the weapons weren't too bad. I really enjoyed the music in this game compared to the other 5 games excluding 2. The first castle here was probably my favorite in terms of the music and overall stage design though.

Next to 3,4, and 8, this one's easily the best of the original series as well. Weapons were great, stages were fun, music was amazing, the only problem is that I felt like the endgame was kinda weak, and might've been the easiest Wily Castle in the series (at least for me)

Only thing I remember was how silly OP the jetpack was.

Mega Man 6 is yet another Mega Man game on the NES, but it's actually a pretty good one, even if a bit easy. New elements, like the Jet armor (featured in the box art), change up the gameplay and are quite fun.

For people wanting to try classic Mega Man, I think this is one of the best picks, alongside MM3.

The only thing bringing this game down is that is way too easy
