Subspace Emissary bumps this game up to 4.5 stars and saves it from being the most forgettable game in the series.

My friend kicked my ass on meta knight :(

First smash bros game played honestly kinda holds up

While it's not great, I can't deny how much fun I had playing this as a kid

Casually there is a lot of content in this that I loved so much when I was younger. Subspace Emissary wasn't what I played the most but is a really cool crossover event with a lot of grandeur.

Competitively, each character has a lot of depth to them which makes learning about them a rewarding journey. However, it can't be denied the overall mechanics gave birth to a meta that was hard to spectate at times. Also Meta Knight and Ice Climbers are on another level of overbearing.

PINNACLE OF GAMING #BRINGBACKTHEREALISTICDARKARTSTYLE

perdi meu save entt nao vou tentar zerar nao

I don't really rate too many games from my childhood other than a certain few online browser games mainly because I can't remember them well enough to give them any sort of rating but I can say without doubt this was fantastic and I loved this iteration of Smash. As a child you don't tend to 'finish' video games but I'm confident that I finished the story mode, unlocked all of the fighters, and would play by myself vs the AI for hours on hours. Don't care to revisit this anytime soon incase it ruins my view of the game. Good game, good times!

Genuinely prefer World of Light over Subspace.

mais um smash no meu irmão

Was good at the time as a party game, but nowadays the only reason to go back to it is mods and subspace (the latter of which I don't even like)

Fun story mode and great with friends

The Subspace Emissary mode is weird but a lot of fun. As a single player game, this is probably the best Smash game, even if it's not as tailored for competitive play. A solo player can get a lot of hours out of this game.

This campaign will forever be unbeatable

Its worse then most of the other smash games but I have nostalgia for it since it was the first one that I played, plus subspace still is the coolest thing I've ever seen

Subspace Emissary my beloved

the miserable smash bros game

Juegazo tilín :v El Subspace Emissary es la mamada

NAH WAHT THE FUCK IS THIS
(at least the story was fun)

ngl... i got COOKED. shoutout Ady

Subspace is still the greatest crossover to ever grace this planet

I would sell a limb for another Subspace

Just don't play it competitively and it becomes a fun game

All my memories of this game are replaced by the mashup of the opening music with MAAD City.

Give falcon the ability to kill pikmin by sliding on them like in the cutscene

If you don't like the Subspace Emissary, I can't be friends with you. This is like the best campaign ever. Imagine 30 of the coolest fucking characters all put in the same story mode that actually has a banging story for a nintendo game. I have probably replayed Subspace like 15+ times. And watched it on youtube another 15+ times. So fucking cool.

Also this was my introduction to smash brothers, so obviously the smash element of the game was wicked for me. Playing as Charizard kicking Link's ass is to fucking cool. Fuck all the haters this game absolutely rules.

slapped. i loveddd the sort of washed out vibe the game has and SONIC THE HEDGEHOG!!!
