The best Mario RPG game still.
Full of charm and unbound rizz making it a pleasure to play with its smooth animations and unique characters.

Good game, but I have the 3DS remake soooooooooooooo...

This was my first ever Mario game. This game is very confusing when you play it not understanding that Bowser is usually the bad guy.

It just has a special charm to it that makes me love it so much. Definitely gonna play in again in the future!

I just love the Mario rpg games so much, so much charm in them and great combat

We need a return to these games so badly.

One of my favorite GBA games growing up! Although it was the only GBA game I've owned and played, it was still fun! I also really loved the remake as well!

I never beat Cackletta at the end as a kid but I've gotta go back to it sometime...

Amazing spritework, sick music, loved the characters and specially the charm the bros have here with all of their interactions, talking gibberish, and other stuff. A must play for anyone who's willing to give it a try

great game as a kid. replayed many times

juego buenisimo no me canso de rejugarmelo

never beat this one but I like it. I have a very cordial relationship with it.

This is a serviceable Mario RPG with plenty of funny moments. Instead of sticking with the usual cast in paper form, this game establishes plenty of original characters with their own quirks. This game was really fun, although there was a moment I soft-locked in Bowser's castle after the Morton fight. That fucking sucked.

aha! okie dokie

Another game that makes me miss the golden age of Mario RPGs, great battle system, solid music, and hilarious writing. Doesn't overstay its welcome and gives you a fun trip into the Beanbean Kingdom.

An extremely solid RPG. It leans further into the timed button presses originally introduced in Mario RPG which makes for enemies feeling very unique and distinct from each other in how you fight them. It's a shame that Alpha Dream no longer exists and that the last few Mario & Luigi titles were just treading water.

I don't really like turn based RPGs but this game is so good, i love it. The combat is really fun, and the music in this game goes CRAZY. I'm not a huge fan of the turn based combat format but the way this game does it is so much fun. The combat is simple, you attack on your attack turn and use attack pattern memorization to not get hit during the enemy turn and its so fun. I'm not a fan of how in other turn based games i have to sit and pray my enemy doesn't turbo fuck me and that theres nothing i can do about that, so i like how i can do something during the enemy turn like remembering the attack patterns and dodging or stopping enemy moves with what i learned through attack patterns instead of hoping i get lucky. This game has a lot of personality and charm to the Mario and Luigi sprites and i have so many memories of those sprites in old youtube sprite animation vids especially Mario bros Z.

After many hours, and many attempts to bring down the final boss, I finally cleared Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, one of my favorite games in the franchise, as well as in general. This was many years ago, so it might soon be time to make a return, as I no longer have access to the 3DS remake. The original doesn't keep track of beans you've found or anything like that, so I'll be content with a simple start-to-finish playthrough using my Game Boy Player peripheral.

Hey Kid, come over here, wanna see my Bean Bean Kingdom?

played this when i was like 7 and it turned me evil

Great little game. End boss took me a couple of tries. Its been a while since I played a game that took repetition and muscle memory. Takes me back to older games.
